Karen is (unlike Spira [and me]) a morning person, she comes bursting into the lobby of the Pokemon Center raring to get things going! Unlike the usual three braids she wears, she has her hair in a single Dutch braid.
When Karen hears what Nurse Joy has to say about the hauntings, she shrugs; "Ghosts aren't a problem with me!"

For heaven's sake, that display of 'It's a beautiful morning, let's get goiiiing!!!~' causes Kee to focus harder on the screen on his laptop and hit the keys more determined in the hope to not be spotted and potentially infected with any morning-person-feels. Where do these people take such an amount of energy from at such an early hour???

Octavia however perks up and decides to approach Karen, she gives her a delighted smile and rubs her head against her as a greeting. It looks like that shiny faeeveelution likes her, probably not only because that fearlessness she expresses towards the mentioned Ghost Types reminds her on her owner. (That sounds like yet another unintentional similarity!) She stays with the young lady with the eyes of gold and silver for a while until Kee comes along and picks her (Octavia) up with a "You're not s'pposed to run off, you know that (҂ `з´ )". Octavia doesn't show any remorse and lovingly cuddles up to him, knowing very well that this will cause him to forgive her instantly.

"Yeahyeah, good morning and all that", Kee more grumbles than says, "I'm about to head into town for some trades and purchases. You need something?" Eventually he also adds "You can come along if ya like and have nothin' else to do, I'm just not the most upbeat person in the morns." How bold of him.

(...)Kee: They would find Ran sitting over in one of the back tables in the lobby, reviewing once more over his notes/pictures/design doccos on the Robo Prosthetic, with Beethoven playing soothing classical music to help him focus. He also has what looks to be a package right beside him, opened up to reveal what's exactly in it. Could those be the Neuro Sensors he needs to finally attempt to build that arm....?(...)

Ah. That blacksmith was so small and sunken in his work that Kee spotted him pretty late, he feels he (Ran) must have been sitting here for much longer than he does. Eh... Nevermind, at least he didn't miss him at last. He gives Draven an hand gesture of 'He's there' and a nod towards Ran, the OMINOUS smile the catbat-vampire displays as a response directly speaks 'Showtime has come at last. *lots of held-back snickering that doesn't let anything good suggest*'

Kee stays where he is while Draven walks off, using every shadow and corner he comes across to his benefit to make sure that Ran nor his Pokemon spot him too early - once he is within reach of the table, he leaps directly only it with a heartfelt jump, landing in front of Randolph: He hisses at him just because. :> (This does not count as areal Ambush, the intention is not to scare Ran.)

But, he's not there to fight or mess with him, which he expresses by shaking his furry head towards any defending reactions. Instead, he displays a smug smile, adjusts his monocle and put one paw into his cloaked wings, taking allllllll the time he wants before pulling out the Megastone for Abomasnow from it. Presenting it to Ran with a 'Look what I've got here!!~'-expression and stance and proceeds to hand it - only to pull away the very moment Randolph makes the SMALLEST motion in his direction, gving him a smile SO FULL of malicious joy that you'd hear him cackling even if he doesn't right now.

Draven does not pack the Megastone away but instead halfly dips it into the cup of cocoa that's at the table (that I just assume there is because Randopllph was displayed to enjoy one while he works on stuff at least once before) and licks the stone. Then he throws glances between the cup and Ran to make his message as clear as day moonlit night: Get him a cup of that chocolatey stuff and you'll get this stone.
