Lunapup is cautiously willing to listen to the idea. But it will depend on who, and on what Lunapup gets out of this.

Nathan pulls out the picture of his family and Forthright when she was still a little Ponyta.  He points to his dad.

"...he's the one I'm primarily concerned about.  My dad.  He disappeared three years ago, and I only found out what happened to him a few days ago.  He...ran afoul of some of the nastier powers in the upper layers.  We rescued him, and his condition is improving, but...well, he still isn't quite himself, and...not all of the pokemon that were with him made it out okay.  The Machamp that was with him...they didn't...you know..."

Nathan can't quite finish the sentence.  He coughs and moves on.

"...*ahem*...anyways, that means he's only got 5 of his pokemon friends protecting him right now.  I'd feel a little bit better if he had a full team of 6 to help out, to be honest...as for what's in it for you...well, for starters, it'd be a lot easier to protect your valuables if you weren't doing it alone, right?  We could definitely bring your treasure horde along, no problem!  Giant and/or aggressive pokemon won't be a problem at all thanks to teamwork!  Plus, you might get to guard new treasures along the way as well!  Like..."

Nathan pulls the Adamant Sphere out of his bag to show it to Lunapup.

"...maybe this?  I could definitely use some help with guarding this precious treasure, too, and I've even found a lot more besides that.  And I've got plenty of smaller friends of my own who might like to meet you as well.  That red and purple and black stone you've got?  I have a small dog pokemon friend who would very much love to see that, and he also loves making new friends...mostly because he has so few in the first place, but..."

Nathan stops there and sighs, then apologizes to Lunapup.

"...sorry.  I'm rambling.  I've got a lot to think about, a lot of burdens to shoulder...I honestly need all the help I can get..."
