(Alrighty, now that I’m in tip top shape and not about to kill over, it’s time to play catch up, in abridged style!)
Deoxys Round 4 Reactions:
- Terra’s simply wowed by the Lati@s tearing apart their own bunch of clones so easily, and grows VERY angry at seeing them mentally tortured by the Attack Forms. If he already was not resolved to eradicate the lot of clones, that right there certainly did the trick fanning the flames or RIGHTOUS RAGE! within him!
- He also has some words of encouragement for Kelda too. “Doing well, Kelda! You can do this, so don’t give up, now or ever! Keep being STRONG!”
- Seeing Gustav getting nearly turned into steamed crawfish made him seethed with greater RAGE, and prompted him to put a hand on the handle of his sword before he forces himself calm.
- Terra can’t help but be both impressed and somewhat Intimidated by the raw alien might the Attack Form display with their AoE Burst Rage Move, and the Defense Form’s literally bringing the house down on them also left its mark on him. The Strength of Legends is truly something to remember….
- Hearing Lancelot’s Frozen Roar sends shivers across his back and make him grimace, but he soon regains his composure, as this time he was not a Target of it. Now was NOT the time to succumb to primal fear and urges, and double down on those intergalactic interlopers in THEIR moment of weakness!
- Shiva’s sudden interest in Capturing pieces of Deoxys clones causes him to shoot her a worried/concerned/curious look, before he shakes it off and leaves the matter be. He trusts that she has a good reason for doing that , and he doesn’t have much room to criticize her for doing so, seeing as hecaught an entirely intact clone. He’ll just have to deal with both issues later.
- The Rubble Blast from the Defense Form clones nearly causes the sagely monk to blanche at the sheer devastation it caused couple with the Attack Form earlier Burst Rage Move, but doesn’t have much time to do much else beyond scrambing to heal Arete and just trying to survive the chaos of the fight. He does so mainly with leaps, dives, combat rolls, and throwing himself (and others, on occasion) well out of the way of harm, and strategically using bits of rumble as both cover and staging points for more Attacks/dodging. Terra may not be the smartest individual, but when it comes to fights and battles he’s an expert!
- He also voices his agreement with Kelda’s take on countering the Defense Forms, as well as urging/encouraging her and Cosh ever further in their own struggles against the super space virus.
- Terra is nearly sent into a frenzy of shock, fear, and even MORE ANGER at the Mixed Attack Blast from the Defense Form Clones, his head snapping back and forth between his partners and everyone else as they got scorched and pocked by it. He’s only stopped when he realizes Shiva was Shielding him from harm and not the other way of around, which was a jarring thing for him to experience to say the least. He was supposed to be her Defender, not the other way around! None the less, he’s grateful for the aid and her inadvertently bringing him back from the brink , shooting her a nice looking grin in thanks before he bounds off to continue the good Fight and Survive!
- Cosh’s decision is meet with nothing from approval from him, giving them a nod and thumbs up for his pragmatic choice. Keeping Nathan conscious and alive was top priority in this Fight, and he’s glad the master wizard was doing his best to ensure they remain so, despite the grudge the boy held towards him!
- Deoxy’s Psychic causes Terra to completely lose his cool and restraint, causing him to suddenly bellow out in pure RAGE at the attacker “I DON’T UNDERSTAND! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!” , gripping his sword’s hilt so tightly it started to creck. While it hardly did any real Damage it felt immensely violating to him and brought back the memory of him nearly being brainwashed by DEOXYS PRIME, which combined with his current ANGER, battle high, and righteously savage temperament….
- After that Terra’s too filled with near berserker levels of wrath to be able to coherently respond and/or react to the other events that transpired that Round, but Spira getting down does cause him to roar out in hate filled RAAAAGE as he soon rips off Dunny’s Pokeball and summons them into the fray. Arete would actually mirror his roar with one of her/their own almost in perfect concert, as by that point the two of them where almost on the same wavelength now more than ever. That wavelength off course being ‘destroying and eviscerating ALL their enemies, with as little tolerance as possible.’ This was probably quite the errie sight, seeing the normally stoic man and his near ruthless killing machine acting almost exactly the same way….
Round 5 Reactions (For the most part):
- I’d say that Dunny was inspired enough by his own master’s RAGE that he decided to Channel and spread it around a bit with its Rage Powder, and was appropriately satisfied by the results as he was soon being stared down by the Attack Form Clone without a trace for fear. He’s a Skull Ruins Ghost and has seen/done plenty of terrifying things, so not even this Psychic Legend would be able to Intimidate him!
- Terra has 3 Insight, so I’d say he isn’t that dumb/not bright enough to try the tactic, but I’ll follow along with your lead regardless and instead justify his plan’s failure by just being too gosh darn ANGRY to think clearly enough to carry it out. Heck, he’s so ANGRY and in tune with Arete that when she/they start their latest Fury Cutter rampage he actually draws his own sword this time and swings it in tandem with her/them, their combined Will burning incandescently as they wanted to do everything in their power to ERADICATE the clones!
- From there, the RAGGING wanderer would continue being consumed by his….well, RAGE (and maybe Arete’s too, at this point), only barely keeping himself from going on a Rampage and not cause problems for his friends. Until the last clone falls, at which point…….
As the last jello alien collapsed with an all too audibly and was torn apart by the swarm of Combee, Terra felt himself coming back to his full senses as the almost suffocating red RAGE drained away from his mind as he stared at remnants of the clone. He panned his gaze across the burning, ruined, and chaotic mess of a battlefield that once was and one day could again be Elanor, expressionless, then at last to sword tightly gripped in his hand, before he closed his eyes with a heavy, heavy *SIGH* and sheathed it.
“….It is over. Have…..original Deoxys left to Fight, but for now…..battle is over. We….we won.”
He almost slumped as a great deal of tension seeped out of him with that revelation, but instead only bows his head and stare at his hands. So much pain and atrocities had been committed these past few days by Deoxys and its clone army, but with this momentous victory their reign of terror and their heartless experimentation upon Cheshire and it’s people was coming to an end. Thinking this, the sagely monk’s expression once again hardened, clenching a fist and bringing it to his chest as he slowly looked back up to the horizon.
‘Me, Nathan, Shiva, Heart, Spria…..we will defeat Deoxys, and make it pay. Once, twice, and many more, until it can do no more harm. That, I promise.’
As he did before, he vows to do again: to stop the intergalactic menace and bring peace back to these lands.
Meanwhile, with Arete, she’s/they’re much less solemn and reserved about everyone triumph, waving both of her/their talons in the air and shrieking a defiant buzz-chittering at her/their fallen foes! Yes, yes, YES! All the clones were defeated and DEAD! That is what they get and DESERVE for DARING to challenge her/them and her/their Master! Now, it was time to DEVOUR what remained of them that she/they already haven’t and make their power her/their OWN!
Well, that was what she/they planned to do, before Charizard beat her to the punch and burnt the ’leftovers’ , which prompted an most ANGRY wailing chitter at the fire dragon as she/they whirled around as raised her/its talons irately at them! Hey, hey, WHY did you do that?! She was going to EAT them all, but YOU stopped her/them! No good, no good, NO GOOD!
Despite her/their clear anger over Charizard’s actions, it didn’t look like she was going to attack him over what he did, nor did Terra look concerned that she/they would. Unusual, but maybe je ordered her to not harm other Pokemon unless he said so? Either way, Arete wasn’t going to cause a problem, but that wouldn’t stop her/them from complaining about it!
After that and the sagely monk had a few seconds to collect himself, he looked for Dunny bore witness to their Evolution as described, which caused his eyes to widen in amazement until he suddenly bore a wide grin and walked over to clasp them on the shoulder (or try to).
“Dunny……I’m proud. You faced the clone fearlessly and gained great power for it. Together, we will use it well, and make it grow, more and more. Well?”
(Their reaction? I ask, because with their Evo they gain at least 2 Disobedience from being a Dusclops now, which combined with their 3 Disobedience brings them to a staggering 5 unless you say otherwise. If they have 5 Disobedience, then is that going to be a problem, since a Pokemon is supposed to abandon their Trainer if they don’t have a total of 8 Points of Happiness and Loyalty combined [As said in the Core book]?)
Cosh’s alert, distracts/ends the moment between the mountain of a man and his cycloptic spirit, and he turns to witness the Eon Dragons mopping up their own batches of clones, which bring yet another grin to his face. Seeing them in action never gets old, or is any less spectacular to him.
He doesn’t pay too much head to the League’s chatter, instead focusing on the gigantic man of mist approaching the group with the Lati@s duo, looking at them plainly, curiously, and without any deference but none the less welcomingly. No guesses need to know that this was The Mist Lord Nathan has told him about, and boy did they live up their mantle. Still, he didn’t let such things bother or change his attitude towards them, as just because they were all legends/Legends in their own right doesn’t mean he couldn’t treat them normally or fairly. They were just human and Pokemon, after all.
When the telekinetic drakes started handing out what appeared to be Key Stones, the steely brawler took the chance to bring out his Pokedex to snap a picture of them when the got to him, giving the two of them a grateful smile and the happiest head-pats he could muster. At long last, that dream of his was complete. After the war with Deoxys was over and done, he couldn’t wait to send copies of them to his parents! He also bags his Key Stone, to save for future use. Regretably not the near future, as neither Melly nor Pixie have either 5 Loyalty or Happiness to Mega Evolve, but that's the way the Lava Cookie crumbles. Besides, it's not like he absolutely needs it right now, or otherwise he'd have kept the Key Stone he loaned to Heart!
The Mist Lord’s respect is meet with humbleness on the Terra’s part, as he simply smiled and shook his head.
“Deoxys needed to be stopped, and that is what we did and will do. That is all. No need for praise, for doing right thing.”
Their offer for further rewards is meet with a thoughtful look, however, until he figured out what he wished to solicit from them.
“TM for Earthquake, and a Reaper’s Cloth, please.”
Charitable and non-egotistical monk as he may be, he was also a merchant’s son, and therefore was never one to turn down opportunities to profit. That, and those Items he asked for would certainly help in the future!
At the Mist Lord’s final comment, Terra gave him a nod, his expression once more resolved and determined.
“Understood. Let us go, and find Deoxys. Find and defeat it.”
(Wheeeeew, I’m DONE! Man, that took awhile, but I’m sure happy with the results! I’ll say right now that Terra also Revive Genie and congratulates her for her own tremendous efforts before the group sets out to find/Fight DEOXYS Prime, as I don’t want to try and crowbar a scene of that in my already massive post. Also, can we just have Spira automatically teach all the Pokemon we have that can learn SURF now, to save further time?)
