Amethyst shrugs, then starts staring out of a window instead of looking at her new trainer.  If Randolph looks out of it as well, he can see the wind's starting to pick up a little again.  It doesn't look nearly as strong as the snowstorm the Mega Abomasnow were able to conjure, but it certainly looks cold out there.

Yet another heavy *Sigh* is issued by the midget miner at his antsy seer lackadaisical response, this time with him closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Take that as a hearty 'no' then. Tsk...would be MUCH easier and nicer for us to work together than be tripping over each other's decisions, but can't say I ain't too disappointed bout this either. It'll take time for ya to trust me enough to lead you right and straight as a Linoone, and I did want me an Absol that's more than a wee bit wary of the sorta supernatural malarkey that'll soon be coming down on me and my group's heads, along with some Hail too. *Sighs* We'll find a way to get along just fine regardless, even if it takes a bloody ruddy hassle and a half..."

He does join her by the window and pulls himself up to see out of it (If it's not low enough for him to see while standing), and gives the chilly climes firm nod.

"Yup, it'll be cold and nasty out there like Frosslass' titties, I bet. Best brace yourself for it, Amethyst, for we're going to be wadding through the snow 'n Hail for a long time out there, and I doubt it'll be a pleasant stroll. It's your job to sniff out any disaster or misfortune that'll try and creep up on us, or just jump out of us if its the impatient kind of trouble, bah."

Saying thus, if Amethyst doesn't have anything else to say, she gets the Leftovers to hold as assigned to her earlier and returned for the time being, and Ran goes over to the table and pushes his cup of cocoa on it aside to make some space as he unloads a bunch of raw Crafting material on top of it along with the box of Neuro Sensors and the notes/schematics he's made/taken. Then he pulls up a chair and hops right on to it, takes his pair of glasses out of his Inventory and puts them on, and rolls up his sleeves as he picks up his notes and says to himself "Time for me to get cracking on that Prosthetic. Can't keep the ninja waiting any longer on it, no sir!*Adjust his glasses* Now, let me see how it goes again, 'fore I mess something up....."

Oh, and at this point Beethoven takes one more peek out of Ran's Inventory, and seeing that the cost is clear of all things furry and possibly predatory beasts he flies on out and perches onto a chair away from where his partner is hovering over his latest Crafting project, looking on silently but intently. He's well familiar with this habit of their's by now, so he's not going to do much to disturb them beyond 'putting on' some soothing music if his work gets too stressful or Alerting them if they're about to screw something up (they did review the notes/schematics with Ran, so he'd have at least a vague idea how things go).

(Time to build that Robo Prosthetic! Ran will be spending a Willpoint on this Activity, so that he's ULTRA focused on it and therefore not as likely to totally bugger the whole project right into the nearest waste basket! Crafting Roll is 14D6 + 1, plus or minus whatever other bonuses you want to give him while building it [like a + bonus for already making a Arm earlier and/or having his notes out with him, for example] , so let the tinkering begin in earnest! Oh, and since Kee said he'd program it after Ran was done making a successful arm earlier in the thread, can that Roll happen automatically alongside the Prosthetic Crafting Roll [Assuming he makes a working and decent enough arm]?)
