Also, I would to correct something: Shenzi it's not a wolf. I suppose it's more like a Yena. Since it's name is Mightyena, I suppose it is a Yena.

True, Mightyena is based partially on a hyena.  It also shares some traits with wolves, however.  Either would technically be correct, as would calling Mightyena a dog pokemon.

Well, that's another little curiosity. Although Yena looks like connected to canine family, they have more affinity to feline species, like cats, lions and other feline species.

Either Gamefreak didn't know that when they create Mightyena when they give the name "dog" Pokemon, or if they did that on purpose. So we could say Mightyena is both canine and feline. And might save Kee and Karen fear problems.
