Kee nudges Karen once again after she awoke from her stupor caused by the mssy place, this time with a little more emphasis. "C'mon, it's impolite to stare. ( `ε´ ) We're guests, we're allowed to warm ourselves up here, show a lil' bit of gratitude!" Octavia also chirps (or whatever the sound of a Sylveon could be called) at Karen as if she's worrying whether the young lady's fine, and uses a ribbon of hers to pick up a cup from the table and place it in Karen's lap.

Back to the Hiker, and back to a cup of nice hot coffee. A lights smile forms on Kee's expression over the Hiker's description of the view from atop of Mount Coronet, it seems like he's imagining said view and is already looking forward to experience it himself. He doesn't feel like it's a suprise nor coincidence that the to Spear Pillar's obscured by clouds, THAT place must be really high up...! "And what kinds of Pokemon did ya encounter in said caves? Bet they have barely ever seen a human, living high up in caves of a high mountain range, have they?"

Ohhhh, he's also happy over the offer to search for some loot outside, yes!~~ "Well, if that's 'kay for ya, I'd gladly look for some nice things to keep, could be useful for our travels! *big sip of coffee* ....After having finished this cup, that is. Let's see, a dowsin' machine we don't have, but we have our Pokemon! How 'bout... Oh yes, my recently adopted Fire Types (Vulpix and Salandit) and Core (with Flamethrower) could clear some of the snow, and you've got... a Pokemon with a keen sense of smell, don't ya, Karen? (Her Mightyena) That should work just as well if not even better than a this machine."

Karen carefully takes the cup and sips on its contents, then pats Octavia's head.

"Lots of Graveler, Medicham, Golbat, Machoke, Bronzong, the rare Clefairy and Chimecho...you know, all the usual suspects for Sinnoh's cave systems, just evolved.  Haven't been up there in awhile, though.  You are right that the wild pokemon up there don't see many humans!  I actually once saw a wild Probopass up there that didn't even know what a human was, believe it or not!  But you know, now that you're asking, that reminds me that I did see some kind of really long pokemon up there right before the blizzards started...at least, I think I did...I didn't really get a good look at it.  Not really sure if I was seeing things or not.  The top of the mountain kind of has this...mystical quality to it, I guess you could say.  The higher up you go, the closer you get to the center of creation itself, they say.  Not sure if I entirely believe that, to be honest, but I can't deny that there is a strange aura about the mountain."

To skip ahead a little to the item search...

Karen laughs nervously when Kee brings up Mightyena.  "...ahhahaha...hehe...y-yeah, I do...I-I'm not sure they'd like to sniff around in this w-weather, though..."

"Well, good luck to you two if you're going to go searching for whatever it was I dropped.  Wish I could remember what I'd lost..."

Karen doesn't feel confident enough in summoning Mightyena to get her doggo to help, but the Fire type move users do wonders in making it easier to find items in the snow!  Even as young as two of them are, Kee's training methods help them melt away large quantities of snow even with weak moves.  There's always more snow falling to replace what was just melted, however, so it's hard work that takes a lot of time.

Kee actually finds a really rare item: a Dusk Stone!  Draven pops out of his pokeball during the search to help find it.  He's very careful to not touch it right away, though.
Karen doesn't find anything quite as exciting, but she does find a TM for Sunny Day hidden in the snow drifts after getting completely covered in snow herself.
