"Oh that's simple, actually -", does Kee respond in a non-chalant voice. " - I just DON'T. Can't stand the ice either, I'm just not showing it."

"Let's hold on just a lil' more though, ya heard Lucas - rest-stop's nearby. THERE we can hopefully take a breather from the pretty but merciless winter wonderland." He ruffles her hair a little in a playful manner to both teaste and encourage her.

Snowboarder Dave seems much more chipper, seemingly not caring that he just covered Kee in even more snow.  "Yo, I'd totally be down for a double battle, man.  I just caught myself a sweet new 'mon, too.  Seemed to like my snowboard.  Seems like a totally chill, rad dude.  This would be an excellent opportunity to try them out.  Any other rules ya want to establish before we start?  I'm chill with most anythin' so long as we use only two pokemon each, man."

Kee's listening to Dave without facing him both out of spite and due to he's busy patting snow outta his bright red cloak. "Yeahyeah, good for you having caught a sweet 'Mon." (￢ ￢) He shakes his head to get rid of a bit of snow caught in his hair. "Then show me how capable they are b'neath that sweetness. Uh, rules, let's see....." ..... "Oh! ( ÒωÓ) Right, how 'bout banning anythin' that'll heal a Pokemon's HP, as in no Potions, Berries or HP-healing moves? HP-STEALING moves are fine. I've got a long trip ahead of me, so saving up healing supplies would be d'sired. Stuff that'll heal STATUS, like Antidotes, Full Heals and whatelse is totally allowed. Furthermore, If I win, you'll let me drop a handful snow onto your head. C'mon, ya're a SNOWBOARDER after all!" That's totally not some act of revenge for convering him in snow. Kee holds out a hand to Dave to take in if he agrees with those terms.

And if he does, it's about time to summon the fighters from their respective Balls. From Kee's side, that will be a graceful and perfectly groomed Primarina, Aya lands on some snow with a less loud splash than expected. With one arm/fin she waves away that white stuff around her, with the other she throws her hair into the air to have it elegantly wave in the chilly wind. Doesn't seem bothered much from the terrain, instead she's eager to show the opponent her talent. Accompanying her - as a supporting character of course shince SHE'S the lead - is Core, the snow's so deep that half of him sinks into it. He just shrugs over it though, keeps on listening to his bassboosted hardcore-vibes and throws a glance over to Kee to show him that he can still pick up orders.

"Sounds good to me, man!  Hope you're ready for some totally rad, snow shredding action!"  Dave eagerly shakes Kee's hand, solidifying the terms of battle almost a little too eagerly.

Dave props his snowboard up in the deep snow, then gets two pokeballs out of his backpack.  "Alright, let me see what you can do, dude!  Go, my totally awesome pokemon!"

The first pokemon that the snowboarder sends out isn't unusual.  A Golduck might be an odd choice of pokemon on a snowy route at first, but the skies briefly clear as soon as Golduck leaves its pokeball.  Golduck's Cloud Nine is active.  The totally-not-psychic duck pokemon simply quacks once with arms crossed as it snootily eyes its opponents with an upturned beak.



The second pokemon, however, is one that Kee would recognize as not being native to this region.  At all.  It skids atop the snow with its tail (seemingly unaffected by the deep snow's movement reducing effects as a result), looks like it's wearing a pair of goggles...in short, it looks like a snowboarder itself, and it's a species that Kee would not have expected to see outside of its home region at all, given that it's never been reported to be seen in any region besides Tandor.




The boarder seems to be totally stoked about showing off.  "Pretty rad, right?  I'm thinking they might be a brand new species of pokemon!  Maybe they'll let me name it when I show some super smart researcher what I've discovered!"
