[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
Lucas politely declines Kogeki's assistance.  "I've got this.  I'm not Champion for nothing, after all.  Besides, you guys are starting to look a little worn out.  Least I can do is make sure we all get to the rest house safely."

Indeed, everyone in the group is starting to look a little tired, and it's beginning to get dark.  Lucas is looking a little Exhausted too, but he's also a seasoned adventurer, so it's not as readily apparent for him.

Lucas summons his Torterra and Togekiss, and the Champion gets to work on ushering everyone through the Tall Grass, fighting off any aggressive wild pokemon that dare come close.  Not even Ice types seem to faze Turk the Torterra, as he proceeds to tank blow after blow regardless of what type his opponent is and what moves they attempt to use.  Samuel the Togekiss, meanwhile, spends a lot of time redirecting other wild pokemon's attention, using a large variety of coverage moves to 'persuade' them to leave the group alone.

The wild pokemon don't seem to stop coming, but Lucas insists that everyone continue on and fights them off by himself while everybody else makes a run for the cabin.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The cabin itself is a simple place.  It's tidy, has a few spare rooms, and is run by a kind old man.  There's a sign out front that says 'Travelers are welcome to rest their feet here for a night.' The cabin's not very busy right now due to the lack of travelers on Route 216 caused by the blizzard. No healing machine, but the old man who runs the place doesn't need one, relying less on technology and more on his own natural talents.

Not much eventful happens between the final rush to the cabin and the time everyone takes to rest.

The old man who runs the place gives everyone a simple greeting, shows them where the spare rooms are, and gets to work on making some warm food.

Lucas shows up an hour and a half later after everyone else.  There were a lot of wild pokemon out there.  "I had a gut feeling there'd be too many for you guys to handle.  Something seems to be riling them up.  From the look of things, most of Route 216's wild pokemon are gathered around here.  Maybe it's due to whatever's causing this mysterious blizzard?  I'd bet that it is."

Everyone's able to get a full 8 hour rest at the cabin, and everyone is fully healed overnight.  The wild pokemon seem to be inclined to stay in the grass and leave the cabin alone, and the blizzard continues to make a racket outside of the cabin the entire night.

--------------------------------------------------------------

It is now Day 4.  Reminder that everyone gets a daily will point and has to select their abilities for the day since it's been awhile.

And when everyone wakes up, it's dark outside.  The blizzard's still howling out there, and it doesn't look like the sun has risen yet.

The old man who keeps the grounds mostly minds his own business while everyone goes about their morning preparations.  Lucas gathers the group together for a brief meeting before they continue on their way.  "We don't know what's out there exactly.  Make sure you're prepared.  If you have any changes to make to your team, I'd do so now before we head out. This Route's normally pretty busy, but...well, I can't say I've ever seen this cabin so empty before. I'm surprised the groundskeeper is even still here."
