After congratulating Shiva with surprising warmth, Howl moves on to battle Heart. Shiva, you think he can sense that you'll be crucial to Elanor's rising up from the ashes. Do any of your Pokemon need Loyalty that they might win from such a gym battle?

Awwwww Shiva's delighted over the congrats and victory!~~ A bit coyly she accepts them as well as the Badge + everythingelse and then takes a seat in the audience to watch Heart's battle. What a weird and funny coincidence(?) that he showed up exactly now.

Concerning earned Loyalty

Kyuu as well as Yena feature 4 in that Stat and 4 and 2 repsectively in Happiness, while Pangoro's at 3/3. If at least he could earn some Loyalty from pummeling through Howl's dark Pokemon, that'd be nice!~

Uhm, you've also got your notes around, Iron? Because what's the Badge called again, what was the alcoholic beverage gotten as an additional reward, is there anythingelse to know? The only thing I remember is that it's granting +0.5 Insight. (^_^ ;)
And what was that about rewarded XP for eaching character goals? Shiva being max. insightful was one of mine for her. (◕‿◕｡)



+++++++Flashing forward after Heart's fight+++++++


Shiva hinted that she's got something she wishes to talk about/show Howl, so now she's carefully and gently pulling him aside and reminds on that. "Battle first, then business, like I said!~~"

Rummaging in her stuff a little, she eventually pulls out an occupied Steel Ball and places it into Howl's open hand. Her voice is serious and lowered when she speaks up, the words are meant only to him and should not spread. "Please take a look at the Pokemon registered to it. It is....an extraordinaire one, one that I've managed to catch deep down the ominous Ruins, one that's been lurking in a sunken ship..."

Dwelling within the Steel Ball is Dark Shellder. The simple look of it gives Shiva cold shivers.

She continues. "This creature is capable, highly capable, but it's also highly unruly (aka 0/0 vs 5 Disobediance). It's defying almost anything known about a normal Shellder, just look at those teeth and dangerous moves it knows! (>o< ) It's been engulfing the whole area in darkness and the more it did so, the harder it's been for me and the others to wear it down. ...This Gym, and you yourself Howl, sound like the ones being most suited to handle this being... Interested in adopting it?"

Dark Shellder's Stats

Shiva isn't very interested in money or material goods in return for this special Pokemon. A favour is what she's seeking for - she and me have got one in mind, but let's wait and see whether Howl's interested at all and/or offers anything himself first.
