Terra gave a firm but glad nod back at Heart’s acceptance of his challenge and chuckled at their clever wordplay. Two things he always appreciated about the man was his gusto and sense of humor, and yet again they deliver on both!
He patiently listened to the pun lover explaining their son with remarkable calmness, and grew curious and awed as they expounded upon their decisions and future goals with great passion and DETERMINATION.
By this point Terra well knew Heart was a mighty and great man, becoming thus through their own hard work, exemplary qualities and good deeds, and of course saving Cheshire multiple[i] times. Witnessing them now, though, with their son Angelo, Lord Of Fire, preaching to him his [i]visions for the future, the lengths he would continue to go in order to achieve it, not consider to rest on his laurels and let others fight the good battles after all he’s done?
It was at this point that Terra truly knew in his soul that Heart was destined for greatness. No, something more than that. Something magnificent.
‘…I hope I can be like him. Someday, someday…”
Unfortunately, the sagely monk couldn’t try to deign a response worthy to them, as a purpurlish-pink POWERFUL Psychic Pokemon suddenly appeared in the clearing, which immediately derailed whatever he could think of saying as he spun around and regarded the unmistakably Legendary being with great wariness, tension, and unease. After his various Encounters with the pink and pinkish Legends of Cheshire past and present, the mountain of a man had garnered an almost instinctive distrust of their kind, as whenever they appeared something happened. Sometimes it was good, but mostly it was bad.
Thankfully, before things could spiral out of control the young historian’s fond greeting to this Mesprit instantly defused the situation, with the steely brawler quickly calming down and regarding the pixie-like creature with more curiosity than apprehension now. Despite the recent difficulties in their friendship, he still trusted and held their opinion highly, so if they were on good terms with this Legend, then it must not be trouble. At least, not unprovoked!
Like with Heart, Terra quietly listened to Nathan’s request and the details surrounding it, his stoic expression only hardening when they brought up the flooded tunnels Latios was stuck in for who knows how long. By the time they finished the steely brawler had already made up his mind, and instantly gave a swift, firm nod as they ask for their friend’s aid.
“You can. Consider it big honor to help Mesprit reunite with their siblings. Want to stop this….threat too. Prevent it from causing more trouble like Deoxys, and…punish it[/i[ for all the [i]bad it caused.”
He turns to Mesprit, and offers a polite, respectful bow to them.
“You shall have my aid, Mesprit. Will help you, to fullest extent of my power. Promise.”
Terra then paused for a moment, thinking, before turning back to Nathan with a small frown.
“Using Red Chain for them, though…*Shakes head* have to ask Ven about that. Think he would be okay with it, since he gave you his….Red Jewel piece, but need to confirm it with him. Hold on.”
At that, he pulled out his Pokedex and fiddled about with it, appearing to be typing something before sending it (presumably to Ventus). Rather quickly, it only took half a minute for him to get a message back, and after scimming over it he looked back over to the adolescent and nodded.
“Texted Ven about it. Said it was…’more than okay, and perfectly acceptable. I entrusted it to you for good reason, and what worthier use shall it find but repaying the one who gifted it to us?’”
*Frowns*
“…He said he didn’t want to help Mesprit out, though. *Shakes head* Not directly, or if you don’t insist. Or not unless Mesprit and its siblings provide….‘great boons for the favor they ask of you and everyone else, or you ask for them to give you all.’ Said he was….tired of dealing with Legendary Pokemon, and the…’bevvy of interesting times and wonderous difficulties they bring.’ Also….expressed concern about your decision, but….trust your judgement, and that you will be okay. That is all.”
…Well, that was equal parts good and regrettable of the eccentric researcher.
As for questions for the Being of Emotion, Terra only had one for now, though it would be more accurate to call it a request.
“Mesprit….have a clone of Deoxys I caught. Want to make it….friendly to me and…rest of humanity and Pokemon. Not want it to cause trouble ever again. Now…*Shakes head, expression growing grim* …and when I am gone, one day. Is there a way you can help me do that? Without killing it? Please?”

Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
