[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery
(01-10-2020, 04:56 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote:

Ran's scowling visage morphs into a savage grin as his brutish drake's own menacing looks hobbles their rival dirt dweller, and let's out a bark of laughter as it's pounded into the snow covered earth and utterly flounders it's attack!

"Ha! That'll show them underestimating ya draconic might !"

That satisfaction with Dragon's performance is swiftly changed into moderate surprise when they elect not to brutally maim the Excadrill with Crunch, briefly blinking wildly at the sight! Wow, that's not what he expected! It's when they express what appears to be respect that truly floors the midget man ontop his trusty turtle stead (who's equally surprised at this turn of events). Zorn, being cordial to an opponent, and to an Excadrill at that? Is this actually happening, or did Kee spike his morning cocoa with some whisky, and is now seeing things (The sly little punk!) ?

He snaps out of his shock soon enough to quickly double check the situation, and after confirmed it all to be true he could only blankly stare at his scaled subterror for a second.

'Huh. Well how about that. Zorn's being civil and restraining himself voluntarily in front of the mole. Didn't think he had it in him yet, but here he goes, proving me wrong...'

Once that thought passes, Ran shakes his head to clear it, looks to his mighty drake and then to ironclad mole, before looking back to the former and speaks to them, asking them first a simple question.

"Zorn, ya want to continue scrapping with that mole and put them deeper into the ground, or do ya want to let'm go or catch them? If you still want to Fight, sharpen your own claws and get back to tenderizing them with Bulldoze, Crunch, and Iron Head. If not, give me a signal otherwise. Whatever your choice is, I'll be fine with it, so...go with ya gut on this."

Since Zorn surprised him with his behavior towards a normally much despised opponent, the dwarven blacksmith is now curious enough to see what they'll do now they've been let of the leash, so to speak. How will they choose to act, he wonders....

Orders: Well well well, this Round has be an unexpected treat in many ways! Because Zorn's actually unusually polite and composed, Ran's going to let him dictate how the rest of the Encounter goes. If they still want to fight, they have their Actions already qued up (Hone Claws -> Bulldoze -> Crunch -> Iron Head), but otherwise what they want to do is up to them. If they want to let Excadrill go, then they are allow the opportunity to leave. If they want him to catch it, then a Dusk Ball will be used for the attempt (Since it's technically still dark outside, it should be at full power, right?) , while Zorn can do whatever if the Capture Attempt fails. Otherwise, Potion orders still stand from the last Round. Alright, let's see how this turns out!
