The only Pokemon of his he'd be interested in learning Return via dear Karen's rainbowy disk is Octavia - she's the one closest and dearest to the colorful musician, so it's only logical that she's able to put this move in the best use among Kee's other Pokemon.

"Sure!  Knock yourself out!  Er...not literally, though."

Karen also takes this opportunity to teach her own pokemon Return and other moves as well when applicable.

He'd then take the opportunity to give her the Soothe Bell he just recently recieved from Karen, stringing it onto a bit of cord he had and making it into simple necklace for her to wear.

"There. If things get to be overwhelming for ya, just listen to the chime of that bell, alright? Should calm your nerves and help ya focus. Maybe you could even use it to the tune of your singing, with a little practice. What do ya think, Paula?"

Paula really likes the Soothe Bell!  She likes the ringing sound it makes, and it harmonizes very well with her voice as she sings a few practice notes.  It definitely seems to help her stay calm.

Ran shrugs at in a matter of fact way to the wee lass, and explains the reasoning behind his guess the best he could.

"Past experience, mostly learnt from texts and word of mouth on the subject, but also from our recent dealings with the Pixies, and my past with Sally. Though rare as a bag of gold Nuggets, non-Legendary Pokemon capable of direction communication with us humans do exist and have been recorded in history. Most common way they do so is by either by Telepathy or some form of empathy, but Pokemon actually capable verbally speaking our language and using it to communicate have been reported to exist too, seldom in number as they are. Lucarios and powerful or experienced enough Psychic, Ghost, and Dark Types are the most common examples of the former category, and Slowkings are the most common for the later. Technically you could also include Chatots in the 'Verbal Communication' category, but most of them are only capable of parroting back things they've already heard at 'appropriate' times to get their ideas across unless they're trained otherwise. *Snorts* Milotics are an aquatic species of Pokemon, so they don't have the proper vocal cords for intense or prolonged vocalization, so I figured they would be using Telepathy to 'speak' with you. "

In short Order, everyone of Ran's Pokemon but Sekhemt, Excadrill, Tyrantrum, and Gyarados have learned Return! Let the power of friendship be with them, so they can use it to pummel their foes into submission!
