[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery

Wes's Espeon gives Octavia a polite nod, as they can certainly respect a fellow Eeveelution and their owner, but he doesn't seem to be very interested in socializing right now.  He's obviously very disciplined and focused on his current task of protecting Rui.

Oh, Octavia could feel that - that's why she abstained from running over to this Espeon and soft-force them to socialize. Still, such a noble and dutiful fellow Eeveelution, protecting a lady with amnesia from harm and warning her shall shadowy Pokemon (quite literally even) lurk around!~ This Espeon certainly has Octavia's respect.

Lucas frowns as he briefly explains.  "It means trouble, that's what.  According to Espeon, Shadow Pokemon are near emotionless, and thus rather...merciless when it comes to battles.  If they get out of control, they don't care what they might be attacking.  Pokemon, landmarks, humans...nothing is safe from their destructive tendencies.  I'm afraid this is a bit out of my own wheelhouse too, and Espeon's the closest thing we have to an expert on dealing with them.  The moral of the story is: be very, very careful if you see the pokemon suddenly become surrounded in a shadowy, black aura.  Those Shadow type moves were even able to do a number on my pokemon, believe it or not.  They didn't seem to care what type my pokemon were, and seemed to be super effective every time.  If we can beat them in battle, though, that seems to purify them, saving them from the darkness."

Kee listen to Lucas' explanation what Shadow Pokemon are with quite the attention and interested; the more he hears about those.... special Pokemon, the more his expression darkens. "Ugh... And ya have ENCOUNTERED some of those 'n d'feated 'em even, right? Well, thanks for all that info, and yes I'm gonna keep an eye - or two actually - open for ANY wild 'Mon that features such a black 'n shadowy aura, and act properly an' thoughtful in that case, 's well as try to bring 'em down as quick as possible if that does....purify 'em."

Shadow Pokemon.... He's having a bad, VERY BAD feeling that they're strongly connected to that black sky and stuff surrounding Mt. Coronet. Honestly though, what dafaque is actually WRONG with this mountain??!


Eh, better get away from any of these thoughts and focus on progressing, on the back of Orpheus Kee, Kogeki and Lucas (if anybody prefers to fly over to the right cliff on their own, Kee of course lets them do so) make their way to the cliff. Its a flight of a mere minute, but Kee's carefull to keep a good hold on his gentle dragon's white fluff to NOT experience first-handedly how far down one will fall.

Kogeki could see all the kinds of flying pokPoke around them. "It's pretty awesome to you have befriend such a incredible dragon at your side Kee. Must be honest with you, despite our sour first meeting, you are a skilled trainer. I think I would not mind keeping traveling with you, Rans and Karen. But I guess you have your own goals when this Coronet business is over."

"Do you have plans on mind? It's kinda important you have a goal on mind besides stay alive. It helps sharp your survive instincts, and give help as a reminder why you are fighting for yourself."

Oh, that.... Is that a praise coming from the semi-cyborg ninja? How dear and adorable, Kee's rather delighted over these words, and Orpheus gives a thankful look at Kogeki after they have safely landed. "Ya think so? ...Well, thanks~~ 'Skilled' is a....rather wide term though, d'pendin' how ya interpret it..." He pets and cuddles his dear Drampa before eventually recalling them into their Premier Ball. "Well, he seems to be trapped 'n transported? to this place here just like me, guess that adds to a certain synergy we two are havin'."

"P...Plans on mind?" About that the colorful rave-musican-guy doesn't have to think long! "Plain 'n old survivin' this business if I can, find out WHY I ended up here... That does it for tha time being." ┐(￣∀￣)┌


And so, while Kogeki goes off to seewhat this Staravia is up to, Kee lets his gaze randomly wander across the sky, takes a moment to enjoy the fresh and clean air up here... Until a LOUD and SHARP cry of an eagly-like Pokemon rudely disturbes his moments of downtime, causing him to fixate them with an annoyed glance as they glide over his head as if to intentionally mock him. Huh well, it's obviously a Braviary.

Note: Flying overhead, obviously looking for prey.  Definitely looks aggressive, but can be avoided for now.

"Seems like they're out on tha look-out for prey... Well, TOO BAD, they'll run into a BATTLE instead, hmpf!!" (҂ `з´ ) He's obviously NOT pleased that this big bird has ruined things for him, he's quick to bring Octavia out again as well as Draven before calling out to this Braviary with as much as his voice is able to bring up: "HEY YOU UP THERE BRAVIARY, HOW 'BOUT YOU'D COME DOWN FOR A MINUTE 'N SEE HOW WELL YA CAN HANDLE SOME TOXICAL FAIRY DUST?~"

Octavia's holding her Quick Claw, bringing her +2 in the Init Roll.
