The Incredibly Large (and Small) World of Uranium's Fandom
#5
There's just something universal about Pokemon that speaks to a lot of people.  This would be the third forum I've become an active member on now (the first being part of a casual-gaming site, the second being a TV show fan-forum).  And while I've made some incredible friendships and broadened my horizons at both places, this community in particular seems to have a more world-wide influence than either of the other sites.  As I mentioned earlier, I've already communicated with people from at least six other countries that I'm aware of (actually seven -- I forgot to list Mexico -- and there's probably more that I don't know or can't think of at the moment)... whereas Forum A (gaming) is mostly USA/Canada with a couple in England and India, while Forum B (TV show) is almost exclusively USA.

I wish Uranium had that interactive globe like in the canon games that shows where people you've traded with are from -- that would be awesome!
