In that case, Ran will hold on to Sword Dance for now, as he believes he gave Scizors enough of a boon by lending/giving them his Metal Coat and a Leppa Berry. Simple as that!

The wee lass attempt to read along with him earns her a long, deadpanned, side-eyed look that practically screamed "Your being nosey again," but with a *Sigh* he  would move the journal around so the both of them could read it. Afterwards he would go quiet, looking deep in thought as he mulled over the newest (to him and the group) person abducted/caught up in Mt. Coronet's mystery, and eventually bites back a sigh as he closes the journal with a displeased sounding *Snap!* and put it away, before taking off the R.T.H. , looks at it, then at Karen again.

"....I stand by my statement we shouldn't worry too much about this Jonathan fellow, but....we should keep an eye out for him and his companions while we're traveling. The place and its Tauros shit supernatural mystery force is bad enough for us, but for someone completely Unaware and unprepared for it? *Shakes head* ....Don't envy their chances at all. Still, if we were able to find and rescue Scizros and Rui here, maybe we can do that same for them....provided they're still alive."

He looks over the the avalanche pile, then back at Karen again.

"You think Jonathan or his friends may have gotten stuck underneath it, or are trapped past it? Think we should get Espeon's help to see if that's the case.  *Rubs Beard* Maybe Diam's too, since she's a Ghost type that can use her Foresight and natural Ghost senses to detect strange things or....death. If one or both of them find something in or past it, I'll try harder to convince Excadrill to Dig a way through it for us. What do ya think of that plan, Karen?"

No further comments on Brigid's reaction or to the Flute's non-response, besides Ran's bemusement with the former and mystification with the later.

"That sounds like a good idea!  Let's ask them for help!"

Espeon doesn't immediately sense anyone in the nearby area when he focuses on that.  If someone was here, they aren't here any more.

Diam doesn't detect any strange forces or death beyond the usual strange aspects of the Mystery Dungeon, so she doesn't seem to be worried at all about Jonathan.

Karen voices her thoughts on the matter.  "Maybe Jonathan dropped his things when he was trying to escape from the avalanche?  If I had to guess which way he went, it was probably somewhere on the other side of this pile of snow.  I doubt he was running towards the wild pokemon we just fought..."
