[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery

Ran grumbles a bit at as the weight of his day's exertions fumble his fingerwork more than a little bit, and a couple of times he had to rework a couple of steps to get Paula present looking just right, but in the end produced a cute, pretty little red bow. He held it in his hand and gave it one final inspection for good measure, before nodding, satisfied with his work. It's not his best work, but it should be a good enough gift for his smol siren!

He'd waste little time giving it to Paula, releasing her from her Ball and presenting it to her with a tired but happy smile.

"Paula, here. Though you'd look pretty wearing a bow, so I made one just for you. Do you like it?"

If she does, he'd get it fixed to head in a (hopefully) non-painful fashion. Rarely does he accessories his Pokemon and he's tired from a long day, so the possibility of messing such a simple task up is there!

When the bristly blacksmith takes a look at his Female Aerodactyl's Pokeball Summary, he's pleasantly surprised how decently strong and the large variety of Moves the untrained dino already has post its recent resurrection, and the fact it appeared to be much less of a hostile threat as he'd expected it to be. Raising and taming the great flying predator might be easier than he first thought, with a great exemplar of the species like her!

Normally, Ran would want to introduce himself to his newest partner, but given that they what they were and them only being halfway docile/'nice' towards him, he wisely decides to hold off doing that until later when he's far enough away from his group to minimize any possible trouble. Safety first!

At first, the scuffy smith wouldn't notice the wee lass slowly encroaching into his personal space, too lost in remembering that awful, horrible day. When she spoke, though, Ran's head would snap right onto her like a Magenton's Lock-On, his dark, Mood eye borrowing into her for a couple of seconds. He'd then blinked a couple of times as his mind recognized her and was brought back to the present, his entire expression lightening as he looked at her with mild disorientation and confusion.

"Hrm? What's that, lass?"

He'd then recall what she said and quickly looked down at his bloodied hands, and quietly swore at the sight.

"Damn it, not again....."

Ran would then focus his attention back onto Karen, looking apologetically at her.

"Sorry about worrying ya, Karen. Just was.....reminded of something unpleasant, is all. Could ya give me some bandages, so I can wrap my hands up? Can't be leaving bloody handprints everywhere 'round camp, right?"

He'd weakly chuckle at his somewhat tasteless joke, trying to make light of what happened to the worried girl and get her to brush it off. Up to her whether that works or not, though....

Ah drat. Ran (and me) was hoping the Nurses would have healed up Ditto by now, but if they haven't he'd has to do the job himself. The dwarven craftsman would let out a little *sigh* and tell the boy hero "Hold on a second, lad" , before he'd walk a bit away, swtich his Ditto into his party, summoning them, and promptly used a Revive and Potion on the unconscious pink blob, restoring them to almost max HP (8/9) . Once their post summoning + Revival haze disorientation was cleared, he'd not waste much time with introducing himself to them and appointing his newest partner to their first task.

"Ditto, my name's Randolph Schmidt, but you can think of me as Ran if ya prefer. The ninja fellow that Caught ya Traded you to me, so I'm your new Trainer now. Like with the rest of my partners, I promise to take good care of you, and bring out the most of your potential."

"Now first, I'd like to apologize for the sudden healing and introductions, but I got a task that's time sensitive that only you can possibly do."

The bristly blacksmith would then point to Sally, who was likely still unhappily translating for Scizors, and give them a calm but authoratative look.

"I need ya to Transform into that Lucario, and take over 'Translating' that Scizor conversations for her tonight. She's been doing it for awhile now with her Telepathy and I think she deserves a break from it, so if you could do that for us I'd appreciate that, Ditto."

(Alright, let's see how this turns out, before Ran gets back to Lucas)
