I really liked the new type for the starters as I myself have for a long time wanted some other types than grass/fire/water.
Even though the ice/steel/ground triangle isn't perfect due to steel resisting ice it's still a very nice one.
I myself found a new triangle: fight/flying/rock. here it it works just as the original one.
Aaand, I also thought a starter choice between Talonflame/Breloom/Kabutops since here they all have a 4x effective STAB move to use.
^^this was simply me mentioning it, though. Your idea is great! I'd LOVE to try the game!
@Nylon - Thank you! Indeed I was growing tiresome of of the Grass/Water/Fire myself -Laughs- I like your starter idea! It still has that unique feel to it. The Ice/Steel/Ground isn't perfect but its different and that is really what I was going for.
I must say this every time but I love the feedback, I welcome all ideas it just keeps my creativity going or some new insight I may or may not have considered. Now I'm just gonna gush on Breloom for a second because I loved that Pokemon although you had to raise a male....female... Shroomish to about 50 to learn spore and then breed them to get a brand new shroomish with spore then evolve it and raise it up then let it learn Focus Punch.
