[Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery
I do not appreciate the personal jab, Spirit.  That was entirely unnecessary.

If I revert that change to Final Gambit, expect a content rebalance to account for it. It puts me in a situation where I either restrict how effective the move is in certain fights (or even outright fails. This restriction what I'm trying to do with the current iteration of FG), or I buff my bosses in some other manner to keep them challenging (and I'd rather not make my bosses massive HP sponges just because of one move, since that only perpetuates the issue instead of solving it).

Main Series FG is the definition of an all or nothing move since its damage is purely based on the user's HP. Pokerole FG is instead also usable as a last ditch effort, similar to how Self Destruct and Explosion can be utilized, due to being based on the opponent's HP instead of the user's. This is something I'm keeping in mind when considering how to balance the move.
