[Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery

The bristly blacksmith is not entirely pleased with his best friend's caution and blowing off his plan, but he can't really begrudge them for it. Not when they're up against that glimmering, fiendish snake, who seems to only be getting meaner and tougher as the fight wears on.....

He's less than displeased when Sally ends up succumbing to her INSTINCTS OF GOOD AND RIGHTEOUSNESS, shouting alongside Lucas "Damn it lass, cool that blood of yours before it gets ya killed!!" If he could control himself and focus despite the immense amount of emotional whiplash and distress confront and fighting that damn monster and whatever foul and wicked power Diamond Steelix had, then by all right she certainly could too!

Still, he couldn't argue against the results of such flat out relentless aggression then or later on in the Round, but that won't excuse her for a tongue lashing for her behavior later!

Seeing Diamond Steelix grow more and more enraged at being successfully challenged and beaten down for perhaps the first time in its existence, Randolph can't help but give it a savage grin and a bark of viscous laughter!

"Wreck, rage, and rampage all ya like, ya damn monster, but you're going to be crushed into fine powder all the same! You may be mean and tough, but you're nothing compared to us!"

Getting rocked by Aggroan's Earthquake hurt worse than mashing his hand with a hammer, but at least he was warned about it by Alman so he could steel himself. That, and Paula Lucky Chant helped take his mind off the excruciating amount of Pain he was in, letting himself tune into it the best he can while still giving his undivided attention to the Fight. He doesn't know why her singing tickles his memory, but it's very lovely none the less.

Then before he or everyone knew it, Byron's warning came as Diamond Steelix raged and readied itself to unleash one last hellish and defiant Diamond Storm, one which he had little doubt would knock him clean out , possibly into the afterlife. To that, all Randolph could say was thus:

"Fick mein Glück und mein Leben ...."

Diamond Storm was made, the room trembled and quaked, the diamond snake grew oh so very very bright, and he [u]whited out.....[/i]

Coming to awareness was difficult for the midget man. Every fiber of his short and compact being screamed in agony and fatigue, protesting anything but a thoroughly long and relaxing respite. Randolph Schmidt was a hard tack and stubborn man, though, determined not to let anything keep him down, so slowly, achingly he awoke and pulled himself up halfway up from the sleeping bag, bitting back a groan and shaking his head as he did his best to Will away the Pain he was in to addressed his best friend first.

"Not everyone's durable as you, Alman, especially after taking an Earthquake on the chin.  It'll take more than a cave in and tussle with those monsters to bump me off, though, no thanks to ya. You're damn lucky that metal monster of yours didn't end up doing Steelix's dirty work itself! Bah! Almost can't believe you of all people would set off an Earthquake in mine, *Sighs* but desperate times call for desperate measures, so I can't say I blame ya."

His tone to Bryon is cutting yet playful and familiar, which may or may not catch them off guard.

Lucas' concern is earns them a scoff, which caused him to wince and clutch his chest as that caused a fresh spasm of Pain to jolt through him.

"Blame those damn monsters for my condition, not me, damn it. Alman and his Aggron too, if ya want, since they're the ones that ended up brutalizing me the most. Et tu, brute? Oh, and I'm....."

Randolph staggers and nearly falls back onto the sleeping bag as he stands up and dusts himself off, but he somehow manages not too.

"....fine. Enough. Though....If your tortoise is still conscious, mind if you can get them to use their Grassy Terrain to help soothe away all our bruises. Rather not waste a Potion on myself , if I can avoid it. *Looks around* Where's Paula? Where are we, and where is that goddamn Diamond Steelix at? *Grumbles( And where's Sally too, 'cause I got an earful for that lass, for worrying me like that...."
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
