[Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery
Some responses and thoughts on mentioned things:
--------------------------------------------------------------------

@Lord Windos, if you were to or plan to sequel CeladonCityVandals, please control all the NPCs I've controlled that may appear yourself, alright? I don't think I want to or would have the time nor energy to do so. It was lots of fun and it's highly appreciated you gave me the opportunity to participate in a small amount, but I guess I'd rather bid them goodbye now and leave them in your capable hands. Alright?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

@Dragonstrike - more of an open-world and sandbox-like Campaign? Sidequests relevant to every player-character?? *heavy breathing* You got me there, I look forward to that A LOT, I tend to enjoy the freedom open-world-scenarios give and I've got a big soft spot for following meaningful sidequests anyway.

- No limit of only using four moves in battle... THIS will be fun, really curious and eager about that, it allows even more dynamic battles and combos. I look forward to Kee going 'f#ck ya!!1!11' at an enemy-'Mon and use every move he knows against them because there's none that will say that he can't do that (◕‿◕)  Of course, that means an enemy-'Mon can do so as well, that's only fair.

- On the note of traveling through a MysteryDungeon with Suprise-Encounters and following the traditional Encounter-List, if I compare both these mechanics for myself, I think I actually enjoy the former a tad bit more... However, using only that mechanic for traveling would be boring, so I'm all for a lively mix of both.

- Apples as a currency feels weeeeeeeeird. We never HAD to stop and eat because we'll otherwise die of hunger in no Campaign played out on this forum so far, but I quite enjoy that doing so can strike interactions between charas or serve to bond with one's Pokemon, it'd be cool if this were to carried on into PrimalShadows (that's how I'm gonna call your MainGame now)

- Concerning the ETA discussed, yes I too would like to enjoy a break of a few weeks both as a breather and to give you the chance and time to flesh and polish things properly before actually starting - Personally though I would not mind too much if PrimalShadows would start before SkullRuins comes to an official end, given we can follow things in the latter at our own paceduring diceless now. However, playing in two Campaign soft-simultaneously eats up a lot of time and I still want to have free time to follow other hobbies, so the pace of input from my side will likely suffer in one way or the other, just to be aware of that. RP'ing all the time in your freetime is fun, but it gets draining at some point, or that's how I feel, I cannot speak for the others naturally.

Quote:Speaking of a slow pacing to start with at the beginning of the game, learning to adjust to life as a pokemon is actually something that should probably naturally happen IC regardless, ironically.  It's gonna be weird and different for sure, but it'll eventually work out just fine after we've all had some time to adjust both IC and OOC, I'm sure.
Yes, I feel inclined to agree to that - but pleaseplease STILL give us a bit of time in- and outta-chara to adjust and get used to life as a Pokemon in the world of MysteryDungeon now, alright? Maybe an in-game-Day or -afternoon or so, that'd be more than enough. For example, just because the PLAYER knows that you better not steal from a Kecleon's shop within a dungeon doesn't mean that the player-CHARACTER does so as well. (^_^; )?

- Another thing I'm just going to ask here, I don't want to dive into chara-creation too deep now but am just curious: Would it allowed to become a Pokemon from Tandor OR Gen.8/a Galar Form? The issue with that I instantly see if that this requires Stats made up from scratch and leaves solely bulbapedia for a reference, so I'm all fine if that'd be too much. Casually looking through things, I did happen to find a few species of Pokemon I do find fitting for Kee in one way or the other AND that I'd find fun to play as, that's where this curiosity stems from.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

@Iron (sorry for another ping), if not as a full-fledged player, how would it sound to make a one-time-apperance as a human Trainer with their Delta-Orchynx (that Siberian Lynx) that we have to fend off or battle to make sure to not be caught oneself?  I dunno... It's be funny to see and play through.
