Understood. Wide Guard in the double. Another idea of mine is set  Ion Deluge to make all Normal type moves become Electric type. Headbutt and Crush Claw from Elektross could act as Electric moves and give those Poison Lumineon the shock of his lifes!

But...there the danger in energized the environment we currently in like you two mentioned. Maybe it's not the best idea. Zap Cannon and Thunderbolt would be very much useful right now.

But I still say no to the use of ANY Electric Moves, though, AoE or not. Being in an electrically super-conductive environment is NOT a place to use Electric Moves in unless everyone can be gotten far out of range of the current to be unaffected by it.
