Marcus continues to glare at Team Artificers's members as they walk off. "...let 'em go. They're stronger than they look. And I doubt it's just the two of them, too. They probably have a third member lurking around somewhere."
He sighs when Kogeki asks how he knows those two pokemon. "...I'd rather not talk about it right now, if it's all the same to you."
Once the two are out of sight, the Cubone tries to refocus. "Alright, let's get back to what we were originally doing: finding our way out of this place. Kee, if you would lead the way, please."

At the end of the corridor, the group finds a slope with only a few trees on it. There are two things of note in this room that Kee sees.
1) There's an Apple growing from the branches of one of the trees on the slope. It's hanging just out of reach, however, so you'll have to think of some way to get it down.

2) On the ground is what looks like some easy to collect shiny coins with a P engraved on them!

Marcus has a little bit to say about both, and he seems happy to do so.

"You wanted to know where to get more of those Apples from, Kee? Well, there ya have it! Sometimes you can find them in Mystery Dungeons! That one right there looks rather fresh, too! When we get back to town, if you don't particularly need to hold onto a Fresh Apple for yourselves, you could sell it to the shops for a decent amount of money! If you don't sell them quickly, though, then the shops won't pay you as much for them*. But keeping them has their advantages as well, since that's food you can store and don't have to pay for later."
"And those coins on the ground over there? That's the currency we use: Poké! We're not entirely sure why it shows up in Mystery Dungeons, but a common theory is that it was dropped by adventurers who got lost or were defeated. It's usually too much of a hassle to try and go back to retrieve lost items from Mystery Dungeons, though, so anything you find while adventuring is generally fair game! That looks like a stack of around $100, so it looks like we got lucky this time!"
"Go ahead, take the money! Divide it up among yourselves however you like! A group fund might not be a bad idea if you're planning on sticking together, but there are advantages to keeping track of funds of your own, too."
As soon as Marcus says the words 'shops' and 'currency', Karen makes sure to pay extra special attention to everything he says.

"It doesn't usually take much effort to carry Poké around, but larger items like that Apple will definitely be more difficult to carry**. Anyone have a free hand? You're going to need one if we want to take that Apple with us, assuming we can get it down from that tree branch. I have some room in my rucksack if you all have too much stuff to carry already, and I'd be happy to hold onto it until we get to the town, but make sure you're keeping track of how many items you can carry at once. It's never fun having to choose which items you want to leave behind to make room for the ones you found in the Mystery Dungeon. And if you don't have a bag of some kind, that means you're probably going to be carrying everything by hand. I can make you all some basic rucksacks like the one I have when we get to town, though, so I wouldn't worry about that for too long if I were you!"
------------------------------------------------
*GM's Note: Fresh Apples become normal Apples if they are not sold before the end of your first day back in town after an adventure. Fresh Apples sell for significantly more money than a normal Apple does.
**GM's Note: Similar to how it functions in the PMD games, most items will take up 1 full inventory slot and cannot be stacked [there are a small handful of exceptions, though], and money takes up no inventory slots. If I remember correctly, everyone except Pyra and Kee currently have their hands full with carrying their own items since they haven't put them in some kind of bag or storage, so Karen; Kogeki; and Daxter won't be able to carry the Apple. Once you get to the town, you'll be able to obtain a basic bag of some kind to store a few items in so you can all carry more.
