[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
The rest of Marcus's tour of Sahra Town doesn't have any major shopping stops, so it ends up going by more quickly than expected.

Right next to Café Connection is the very colorful stand shaped like Hawlucha's head.  A sign next to it boldly proclaims it to be:

Hawlucha's Slam School!

Hawlucha himself looks to be very busy, digging through a chest containing many different colored discs.

"No, not that one...no, not that one either...where is it...?  Hm?"

The masked bird turns around, and upon seeing it's potential customers, strikes a pose!

"Ah, hello there!  Welcome to Hawlucha's Slam School!  Marcus, I see you've brought some new pokemon!"

"I have.  Everyone, this is Hawlucha.  He specializes in anything and everything relating to Moves."

"Linked moves!  Remembering and Forgetting moves!  Learning moves you wouldn't be able to use otherwise!  Even learning how to use new Abilities!  You can learn how to do it all here!"

He coughs, and seems much less enthusiastic.  "...or you would be able to, if I was able to find the equipment needed to teach those techniques.  I'm sure it will turn up eventually.  And when it does..."

He poses again, stretching one clawed wing towards the sky and looking straight up!

"...you will find no better teacher than I, the great Hawlucha!  Gwaaaaaahhhhh!"

Marcus coughs this time.  "Yes, well, I suppose we should get a move on, then.  This way, everyone!"

Marcus next takes the party to the pier.  Standing at the pier, everyone can see that massive tree growing on an island completely disconnected from all other landmasses.  And to the left of the tree from the group's point of view, they can also see what looks like the top of an active volcano peeking over the horizon.

Two things stand out next to the pier: a Lapras that's watching everyone curiously, and a booth with a sign on it.

The Lapras greets everyone with a very kind, feminine voice.  "Well, hello there.  And who might you all be?"

"Hey there, Lapras.  Just showing the new pokemon around the town.  These are Daxter, Pyra, Kee, Kogeki, and Karen."

"Hello everyone.  I am Lapras.  I take it you're not looking to travel to another continent today, then?"

"Oh no, definitely not.  I definitely have noooo plans to go anywhere right now."

Lapras chuckles.  "I was only asking out of curiosity.  If any of you do intend to visit other places, though, I will be here, as always.  This is a big world, and there are many sights worth seeing.  Don't take my word for it, though.  Purchase a ticket and find out for yourself what lies on the other side of the ocean!"

"Always such a charmer, aren't ya, Lapras?"

"I aim to please.  And it's always a pleasure to ferry pokemon to where they need to go."

"Well, care explaining to our new friends here what's up with the tree in the distance?"

"Gladly.  That tree is known as the Tree of Life.  It is the home of a very powerful being, and not just anyone is allowed to visit it.  Most visitors have to be invited.  Those that are, though, have a chance to grow, to Evolve.  It is but one place where such wonders occur in this world."

"There ya have it.  The Tree of Life.  The crown jewel of the Sea of Wonders.  So many mysteries there, so many questions, and so few answers...well, the next stop is related to trying to find those answers, so hold your questions for now.  Thank you for your time, Lapras."

"It was my pleasure."

--------------------------------------------------------

The final stop on the tour, Marcus brings everyone back to the small plaza in front of Kecleon's shop.  He points to the stairs leading down.

"Down there you'll find Duskull Bank and Chansey Day Care.  The building down there will lead ya to 'em.  They're underground.  Chansey takes care of the locals' Eggs if the parents are too busy to watch them, and Duskull will be more than happy to hold onto on Poké you happen to not want to keep track of yourself.  No interest, but it's safer there than in a Mystery Dungeon.  Why?  Well, if you lose consciousness in a Mystery Dungeon, you tend to lose a good chunk of the money and items you have on hand and get booted back to the entrance unceremoniously by...something.  Nobody's quite sure how that works, but if ya hear some kind of creepy wind, that's probably your cue to get moving to the next floor."

Then he points to the stairs going up.  "There's another underground facility that you can access from up there, too.  That's where the Adventurer's Guild is, as well as the Gastrodon Shop and Glorious Gold.  I'd show you around those locations, but...well, I'll let you guys check them out for yourselves.  I'd rather not go there if I don't have to..."

Marcus once again coughs, then changes the topic.  "Well, that concludes our tour!  Welcome to Sahra Town, everyone.  Oh, and that thing I mentioned about an empty plot of land?  Since you have a ton of cash on hand, I'm willing to bet you'd have enough to purchase that plot and hire someone to build something there.  I'd recommend asking around the Gastrodon Shop if you think that might interest ya.  It's nice having company at my place and all, but it's more of a workshop than a living space for a large group of pokemon, so I definitely recommend looking at other options for living accomadations.  Oh, and speaking of my place, I run a small Accessory making business.  You ever need any accessories, you come find me, alright?"
