As a reminder, DIVE is a 5 Power move that can create small pools of water if there's deep enough depressions in the ground (maybe even if said depressions can be forcibly made, too). A strong Water move for sure!
Since the cover's blown on our group having HMs, should be no issue with teaching the move to any pokemon ya wish, either (beyond a disobedient mon going on a power trip or something). Teach with caution if need be, but feel free to use the HMs Nathan's keeping ahold of if ya wish (currently CUT, ROCK SMASH, and DIVE).
And with the acquiring of DIVE, that's 6 HMs we've gotten access to so far. We know the Scims have a copy of STRENGTH in their possession as well (and possibly also FLASH, FLY, and ROCK SMASH if I remember the moves and abilities they used in the Skull Ruins correctly), which makes 7 HMs if we can get that back from them. The ones still completely missing currently are:
- WATERFALL
- WHIRLPOOL
- DEFOG
- ROCK CLIMB
