[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
Sounds like we're making some rolls to try and climb this tree!  Both Kee and Kogeki attempt to climb it using pokemon related methods, relying on their moves and instincts respectively.

Quick Attack
(6)(3)(4)(4)(1) 3 successes

Kogeki's Athletics
2 Dex + 1 Survival + 0 Athletics + 1 QA = 4 D6
(6)(5)(5)(1) 3 successes

Kee's Athletics
2 Dex + 0 Survival + 0 Athletics + 2 Instinct = 4 D6
(4)(4)(4)(1) 3 successes

Both pokemon scramble up the tree without much trouble.  Kogeki reaches the top in half the time Kee does, but Kee has a much better instinctual grasp of how to safely climb it.  Once they reach the top, getting down safely on the other side isn't all that hard.  Obstacle cleared!

----------------------------------------

The team splits into two groups of two to search for both Karen and the objectives.

Past the large tree, Kee and Kogeki find what looks like a small forest on the side of the mountain.  Rocks of varying sizes are scattered all around the ground, with the three largest ones being in the middle of a clearing.  And...

(6) Objective clue!

*sniff sniff*

What's that smell?  Kee's nose twitches as he picks up the scent of something on a breeze blowing through the trees.

*sniff sniff*

It smells sweet...fruity...maybe it's an apple?!

(3) The first objective is on a tile in the downwards direction.

(4) The first objective is 4 tiles in that direction.

*places a new tile on the map in the specified location*

(as an aside, who's leading the way in this group? Kogeki or Kee?)

------------------------------------------

Pyra and Daxter, meanwhile, find themselves being railroaded into what appears to be another corridor of trees with no alternative paths available, similar to the ones that were in Dry Forest.  This time, however, there's many more rocks of varying sizes visible through the trees every so often, and the entire path seems to be covered with gravel.

*crunch crunch crunch*

The two bipedal pokemon stop in their tracks as they hear the crunching of gravel ahead of them.  They prepare to face wild pokemon, as it sounds like a particularly large group is approaching very quickly due to how many footsteps there are.

However, only three pokemon gallop into view.  A Ponyta, a Blitzle, and a Mudbray.  The Ponyta has a bag strapped to their back with one of the Guild's badges pinned to it.

(4) Guild Team!

The trio skids to a stop at Ponyta's command when the fire horse spots Pyra and Daxter.  "Whoa, hold your horses there, guys!  Looks like we have company!"

Blitzle looks curiously at the duo.  "Hang on, they don't look like wild pokemon.  Aren't those Adventure Badges that they're holding?"

Mudbray seems excited!  "OMG, you're right!  They're adventurers!  Oh, let me tell you, that's a sight for sore eyes!"

Ponyta looks skeptically at the duo.  "...wait a second, I saw you guys earlier today, at Café Connection, right?  Aren't you guys new to the town?  How'd you get accepted into the Guild already?"
