Meanwhile, Kogeki and Kee are wandering through the maze formed by countless tall trees and large rocks, the ground sloping upwards somewhat as they appear to climb higher up the mountain.  Very little of interest occurs to them.  They do notice that the circles in the middle of their badges have started flashing, though, like a light being turned on and off repeatedly.  And the more they walk in that direction, the faster their badges flash.

Eventually, the two of them come to a fork in the path. It's also here that they notice that there's footprints in the dirt!  They look circular, with a smaller circle in the middle, and seem to be heading in the direction that the two of them just came from.

Before the two of them can ponder what that might mean for long, though, they hear a cry for help come from the west!  The flashing light on the Adventure Badges speeds up quite significantly.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!  Help!!"

Very little of interest occurs to Ziggy Kee and the deltadoggo of Kogeki? How lame for the former, but he does his best to keep his mind and senses focused cuz he can't know what may jump at them from the tree or rock just inches away from them.

And this is quickly rewarded as they come across FOOTPRINTS! Kee immediately zigzags to them and starts sniffing them. "He K'geki, look!~ A hot trace! (^0^) If these footprints aren't from a cute but dang'rous - and lost! - Stufful, I'm gonna shave off all my fine fur." Can Kee confirm them as indeed belonging to Objective 2 = Stufful from their smell? He's semi-sure they do from the look of it...

He's up and about to dart off into the direction they came from when that cry for help caused him to halt in his tracks and snap his head westwards. "Hooo boi, s'm'one needs help! ....It may be dear Karen!!!11! C'MON KOGEKI, let's GOOOOOOOO"! And off he runs in direction of that cry.
