A/N: Sorry guys, I'm doing too much and there aren't enough hours in the day for everything. I'll try to avoid that in the future.

Dax panicked and looked around desperately. There was something so innately terrifying about the prospect of being completely surrounded by dirt that he thrashed about violently before remembering that Pyra might still have some of her string.
"Pyra! You still have that piece of string? Maybe we latch it onto something and pull ourselves out?"

(Unfortunately, she doesn't. She put it into Kanguskhan's Storage, so Dax is on his own)

Pyra gives a quick shake of her head at the frantic salamander's plea, her neutral expression dipping into a serious frown. She left that large bit of Crafting Material back with Kanguskhan, not thinking it'd be of any use as it was on their journies into the fronteir. Looks like she'll have to re-access that notion....assuming that either of them can escape from this Trap alive. 

Though truthfully, she isn't all that worried about it. Sure, sinking into the loose gravel WAS problematic, but it's not like she couldn't eventually claw her way up and out of it if she got fully stuck in it. Trying to fiercely struggle or quickly move through it would only cause her to sink faster too, so in the end she would just....continue try to slowly but surely force march her way out of it. If she succeeds, she won't hesitate trying to grab hold of Dax to help drag him out, assuming she can by that point.
