Kogeki tries to grab ahold of Kee and use Quick Attack to speed them along, but all that Kogeki really accomplishes with the action is dragging Kee along at best since the Zigzagoon isn't able to move that fast himself and has a large bag strapped to his back.
So, they end up running in Karen's direction at a normal speed.

Meanwhile, Pyra tries to slowly march her way out of the quickgravel trap that she and Daxter have found themselves in...
Dexterity check
(6)(5) 2 successes
...and she does make a little progress, getting a little closer to the edge of the circle of sinking gravel.
However, that doesn't mean she gets out of the trap. As it turns out, she's sinking faster than she can walk out of the trap.
Fortunately, Pyra and Daxter stop sinking once the gravel is up to their knees.
Unfortunately, they also soon see a pair of Trapinch surface on the edge of the pit, and neither of them are able to move their legs currently. They'll only be able to attack with contact moves if their targets are right next to them.
And speaking of potential targets, those Trapinch don't look very friendly, either. Initiative time!
Quickgravel Trap Initiatives
Pyra: (5) + 2 = 7
Daxter: (2) + 3 = 5
Trapinch A: (3) + 2 = 5
Trapinch B: (2) + 2 = 4
The Trapinch are currently on the edge of the trap, and thus out of range of contact moves unless they get closer.

Back at the northern end of the map, Kogeki and Kee find a sight very similar to what's happened to Pyra and Daxter.
Karen has sunk into the middle of a pit of gravel, and two Trapinch have started to close in on her now that she's unable to get out of the pit. "...st-stay away, or I'll h-have to KO y-you!"
The Trapinch and Karen haven't noticed the newcomers yet, but that could change very quickly, depending on what Kogeki and Kee do.
