Pyra has no trouble leaping out of the way as the tree hits the ground behind her.  As it hits the ground, a bunch of gravel and dirt gets tossed into the air and scattered!

When the dust settles, several larger rocks can be seen scattered around the tree that were likely buried in the gravel.  It looks like they would have hurt if they had hit someone...

Karen quickly walks over to Pyra and offers to help the Devimp stand back up.  "...are you okay, Pyra?  You're not hurt, are you?"

The lil' fiendess blinks Noctowlishly at her friend's (presumably) smol outstretch hand, a tad dazed from the startled tumble she took to get out of the way of that rotten tree, until she smiles and takes it to get back up (probably nearly toppling Karen in the process).

"Yes yes, indeed I am fine and alright everyone! Little small bit dirty from my brief meeting with the stony dirt, but my body is whole and healthy and I myself full of mirth!"

She then looks around at everyone and gives them perhaps her most dazzlingly happy smile yet, practically saturating everyone in its saccharine glory!

"My companions and friends most dear, thank you for helping save me from that old tree. Thought I would meet a most cruelly ironic fate, my Fire and Darkness crush by a dead plant, but nay and no, you refused to let that outcome become. Again, once more I must say, I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart."

Now if that isn't gratitude, she'll have to make her feeling much clear soon!

Once everyone recovers from the shock of the now fallen tree, Pyra would do one of two things: Investigate it , the mess it made, and the area it once stood, and see if she can't take some bark and/or big branches from the tree itself. Oh, and if any thing interesting was unearthed by said dead tree's collapse - don't leave any stones unturned , especially ones that almost brutalized you!
