Nathan generally agrees with Shiva's plan, but he has something else to say to the military.  "I'm fine with that plan as long as everyone cooperates, both human and pokemon.  We humans have a responsibility to not completely overrun nature.  We're a part of it too.  That's something that Almanac and the Scimitars don't appear to practice or preach, and it's why they've earned the ire of so many of the pokemon they use despite the Scimitars' stated goal of saving the world from Deoxys.  Keeping in mind what effects our selfish actions might have on others is what should separate us from them."

"Should we ever lose sight of that and become careless, pokemon might very well vanish from our lives one day, like in an old legend passed down in Sinnoh.  We're not in danger of losing them right now, but that doesn't mean we won't one day if we aren't mindful of our actions and their long term consequences. I'd like to ask all of you to keep that in mind so that we can strengthen the relationship between humans and the world we live in and create a better future for all."

Nathan's being careful with his wording as he adheres to his promise to Landorus.  Because of what just happened, he definitely felt a need to emphasize the point a little, though he wants to also make sure that it's easy enough to understand without feeling like something unnatural that defies normal explanations.
