But it isn't compromising any human progress. In fact, there's little to lose in the world of pokemon by promoting eco friendlyness when pokemon are such an integral part of how the world works, and making efforts to preserve pokemon can only benefit humans in the future by furthering positive relations between the two. Is there something wrong with making efforts to restore the Dratini and Mega Absol populations to save them from extinction, with or without the concept of a pledge supporting it?
And I specifically avoided bringing up Lando directly because there's no need to complicate the point further. He's only mentioned in the last completely narrative section to further explain OOC why Nathan is making such a big deal out of this.
