Daxter looks to see if there's any alternative ways down that might be better suited for a pokemon that isn't very skilled at climbing.
Alert: (4)(4)(6) 3 successes!
Well look at that! It looks like there's some small ledges a little further down the cliff side that one could drop onto to make their way down into the chasm. Walking up to the tree would be fairly trivial after using those ledges to drop down.
--------------------------------------------------------
"I'll stay here and watch your stuff too, Kogeki. Wait, Pyra, what are doi...?!"
Karen tries to grab Pyra to stop her, but isn't quite fast enough on the draw to do so, so the Devimp gleefully throws herself off the edge!
Logic: (4)(4)
Instinct: (5)(5) Tie goes to the 'defender' (Instinct in this case since it's going against what Pyra wishes to do)
...and moments later, Pyra's pokemon instincts kick in and she begins to slightly panic as she rushes towards the ground very, very quickly.
Athletics: (2)(3) 0 successes
...unfortunately, for her, she reaches the ground before she can do anything that might possibly lessen the impact.
Fall Damage: (2)(2)(1)(5) Pyra takes 1 Lethal damage (and also discovers that taking fall damage isn't super effective against her)
*crack!*
Pyra hears her *rolls* left arm snap as her side collides with the ground, and a wave of pain washes over her. That definitely looks and sounds like it hurt...
Karen peers over the edge of the cliff, wincing and looking rather worried. "Pyra! Are you okay?!"
-----------------------------------------------
Kogeki, meanwhile, is making a leap for the tree from the cliff at double speed! Well, trying to. Let's see how he does, shall we?
Quick Attack: (6)(3)(3)(4)(2)(6) 3 successes
Kogeki, light on his feet thanks to both Quick Attack and not carrying much of anything, might actually stand a chance of reaching the tree after all!
3 successes are required to make this jump, as this is a somewhat difficult task.
Athletics: 2 Dex + 1 Survival + 0 Athletics + 1 QA + 1 No Load = 5 D6
(6)(5)(2)(5)(1) 3 successes!
Kogeki soars over the ground at high speed, grabbing the tree's branches when he reaches them, knocking loose the Apple hanging from those very same branches! It falls on the shiny stuff underneath the tree, a pile of shiny Poké, and isn't bruised as a result! Looks like there's about 150 Poké down there.
------------------------------------------------
Kee does the least crazy action and attempts to just climb down, using the empty guitar bag to cushion his fall if he does happen to do so. As he soon discovers, though, Zigzagoon might be tree climbers, but they're not particularly well adapted for rock climbing, so there's no bonus to this roll (no penalty either, though. Only 1 success required to make it down safely due to the guitar bag, though)
Athletics: (6)(1)(5) 2 successes! Kee has very little trouble climbing down the side of the small cliff with the plentiful number of handholds and the security of having a cushion underneath himself.
-------------------------------------------------
With the retrieval of the Apple (and the money that they can split as they wish), that's mission complete! The group now has the opportunity to leave the dungeon once again. Would they like to do so?
