Nathan gives the researcher a casual salute back, then proceeds with the initial greetings and disclosures.  "Thanks for coming on such short notice, Professor Laurelin.  It's really appreciated.  So, before we begin, I just want to reiterate that what we're discussing here is on a need-to-know basis.  What's said in this room should ideally stay in this room.  I know that you can keep a secret already, and Gallade has no obvious trust issues with you, so I don't really have any qualms with trusting you myself, but some of my associates here would like some...extra reassurance that you'll keep quiet about what we'll be revealing should you cooperate with us on this matter.  As such, I'll have Gallade monitoring the proceedings as a precaution, and there may be some papers to sign as well to ensure discretion.  Last chance to back out if you'd rather not be caught up in confidential matters, but I can also assure you that the topic would likely be of great interest to you. This is a very serious matter, after all, so Nathan definitely wants to make sure that he communicates that to Laurelin before divulging information.
