When Ventus lays his gaze upon the Genesect Fossil once more, this time he is no longer enraptured by it. Instead, he has this.....melancholic appreciation for the Legendary[/i], as if looking at it gave and took away so many things to the eccentric researcher. This time.......hopefully this time a relationship with its kin will not end so cruelly or disastrously.
Terra, however, more or less shares the same level of fascination and interest in the fossil as the good Dr. Laurilen herself, in his own stoic and understated way. Such a magnificent specimen could have so much valuable data it could provide towards his own care and improvement of Arete, and beyond that it was a thoroughly exciting prospect bring back a Legendary from death's cold and rocky embrace. For better and/or worse, this Gensect has great potential to change everything , and he's calmly but tensely anticipating the moment that happens.
Ventus has no problems with the conditions and timeline of revivng the G.F. , though he'll be tracking and doing his own covert surveillance of the fossil expert to make sure she remains as honest and trustworthy. Terra would prefer Laurilin lets him assist her, but if she absolutely insist on doing everything alone he'll quite begrudgingly concede to her on the condition he gets her notes and some videos on the whole Revification process of Genesect. The sagely monk might not be a genius like her, but he's still a Skilled chemist and the closest thing of an expert on Genesects outside of Nathan and Ventus so he could have a a lot to offer (Like his own personal notes on Genesect, including nutriotional and biochem. data on it).
The only reason the orange haired scientist was not insisting on being directly involved in the project is that he was not that kind of researcher. His specialties lay in essentially Pokemon psychological, sociological, and behavioral study, conditioning, and control with a few notable other nacks, so any attempts to help Revive the Fossil would be like a Mexican chef trying to make a Italian meal with only the vaguest idea of what to do.
Ventus: "Indeed. I wish you much and great success in your endeavours, Dr. Laurilin."
Terra: "*Nods* Hm.....may you do well, Fossil Doctor."

Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
