[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

Kogeki didn't say anything about the locations Lapras said.

"Thank you Lapras for letting us ride your back. Have a good return friend."

Kogeki feel a uneasy feeling about this Hall of Magic since there is Ghost types in that place. "...Very well. Let's go."

(....)

Pyra, who has been remaining remarkably quiet and restrained in her mannerisms and talking ever since the start of the mission (save for happily and curiously chattering back a little to Lapras on the way to the Hall of Magic, and perhaps possibly eliciting their tourist-like explanation), gave the great big sea turtle beast a warm smile as she and the group got off them, waving them good bye as they departed back to town.

"Much gratitude from me too, Sea Wayfarer Lapras! May fortunate currents and currents of fortune favor thee, now and when!"

Incidentally, the fiery demoness remained undeterred or frighted of the ocean, even after spending a long time being ferried across it. Heck, she still had the urge to experiment and play around with the briny water, but thankfully refrained. She was on a Mission with her group, and she couldn't afford to sate her curiosity about her relationship with Water if it would jeopardize their odds of success and survival!

Like Kee, she is very much undaunted of the odd and ominous Mystery Dungeon and its opening, looking intensely interested in its peculiar decor and that urge to enter and explore it. Almost before she realized it she was moving to enter, stopping herself in place and examining herself questioningly before looking back at the entrance. Strange.....what has such power in that mystical domicile , to influence herself so greatly, so distantly too? Perhaps that of the Psychics and Ghost living there, long casted and steeping it in its entirety? Or was it by wondrous design of it's lost and mysterious architects, whomever and whatever they be? Hmm....

Being keenly aware of her friends at all times, Pyra notices Leader Kogeki's unease and apprehension and promptly skips over to give him a should hug and a sweet, encouraging smile.

"Worry not, Ghost Stalker Kogeki, about the vexing and malicious spirits that lay within these Halls of Magic, no no. You have me and we, myself and our friends, and together nothing shall waylay us in our goals and Quest, oh yes!"

The whole 'Gotcha!' trick of the M.D. caught the brimstone imp offguard like her Phantom Brave friend, jumping straight up into the air at the doors loudly closed before whirling around to stare at them with wide eyes. They then narrowed in thought, her smile dimming just a little until she turned right around and followed after the rest of the group after a moment, getting into the formation he suggested with nary a complaint. She perfectly understood his rationale for it, as placing her in the vanguard was most ideal given her Dark typing and Intimidating presences, but even if she didn't that wouldn't have stopped her from obeying him. Right now he was her Leader, so what he says goes! And regardless of anyone's position in the group, she'd do her utmost to fulfill their desires and wishes the best she can.

As for his opinions on the H.o.M. , she pay almost rapt attention to them, tilting her head this way and that as she pondered them aloud to herself and the others in a airy sort of way. "So you say, that is what you believe, Kogeki? Hmm, perhaps perhaps. They could be built by lost mankind with, without, or in domination of Pokemon, but they could also be built by bipedal or Humanlike Pokemon of yore too. The spirits and mystics here and of ancient times themselves could have also fashioned this place, as their quiet home of final respite and rest away from the living world. Or mayhaps something else beyond our wit and others carved these Halls from the rock here, and endowed it with its mysterious power? Who knows, who knows what, and who knows why. I can not say for certain if you are right, no, for I have little Knowledge myself of these arcane ruins of old. Only your words and Larpas' shed light on this mystery to me, but not enough to pierce to pierce the gloom and obscure of its past long since forgotten. Perhaps we will someday find out, or perhaps will may never know. Until then, we can only guess, theorize, and seek its deeper-lost Mysteries if that is what we wish."

Well, that was a philosophical mouthful! Yet again she proves that despite her enthusiastic and erratic nature, she's a rather Insightful and thoughtful Pokeperson! All that curiosity and desire to learn ain't just entertainment for her, you know.

The lil' fiendess  didn't have much else to say after that, following Kogeki's lead with a happy hum. She too was interested in the runescript that Kee discovered, but left it to him puzzle over and record after getting a glimpse at them herself and fondly ruffling a claw across his head to share in their mutual good cheer - the Missions and her friends safety were her primary interests now!

Karen's remark earns her only a smile and hopeful nod, as that would make things much easier on themselves if what they said was true.

Until Kogeki makes a decision on which/how to go (Direction and Pace [Slow/Normal/Fast]) through the Dungeon, Pyra will just keep watch in the current tile, panning gaze around the it and (if he waits long enough) patrolling around the group. That's all!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
