Cofagrigus is very excited to see Pyra and Kogeki presenting Gold Bars to him. "Ah, is that what I think it is? Gooooooooold?! Yes, yes it iiiiiiissssss! Give it to meeeeeee, and I shall reward you handsoooooooomlyyyyyyy! The moooooooorrrrrre you have, the mooooooorrrre I can prooooovide!"
Cofagrigus has two options for exchanging Gold Bars:
1. Cash for Gold: Cofagrigus will pay 555 Poké per Gold Bar exchanged.
2. Gold for Items: Cofagrigus has many hard to find items for sale, but he'll only part with them in exchange for Gold Bars. Nobody's quite sure where he gets them from, but he always seems to have everything he offers in stock no matter how much everyone purchases.
- 1 Gold: 1 Mini Donut (gives a small amount of exp when consumed)
- 2 Gold: 1 Reviver Seed
- 2 Gold: 1 Donut (gives a moderate amount of exp when consumed)
- 3 Gold: 1 Mega Donut (gives a large amount of exp when consumed)
- 4 Gold: 1 Perfect Apple
- 5 Gold: 1 Sweet Chocolate (boosts 1-2 random specialties that are able to be increased and under 3 permanently)
- 6 Gold: 1 Lucha Token (can be exchanged at Hawlucha's Slam School to unlock a pokemon's Hidden Ability when it is reopened)
- 7 Gold: 1 Four-Leaf Cookie (boosts 3-4 random specialties that are able to be increased and under 3 permanently)
- 9 Gold: 1 Vitamin of your choice (HP Up, Protein, etc.)
- 10 Gold: 1 Excavation Looplet (makes it easier to find buried treasure such as gold bars when held)
- 2-5 Gold: Various other Looplets with various effects when held
"If you ever come acrooooooooss rare treasures or items that yoooooooou might want to use again, but looooooose or expend them, I alsoooooo have a knack for findiiiiiiiing things. Foooooooor the right priiiiice, ooooof coooooourse."
For example, since the party has obtained a TM for the move Bulk Up, additional copies may also be purchased from Cofagrigus with Gold. A TM for Bulk Up costs 2 Gold, for example.
(If Treasure Boxes are the gacha system, then gold bars are the premium currency! ;P )

When Pyra goes to sell the Gold Ribbons to the Kecleon brothers, a Machop that seems to be in a hurry bumps into her on the street, causing her to drop her bag. The contents spill onto the ground, the golden items glittering in the sunlight.
"Oh, I'm so terribly sorry! Here, let me help you with that!"
The Machop picks the bag up and starts putting things back into it, and their eyes go wide when they see the Big Nugget and the 2 Gold Ribbons. It's all very quickly stuffed back into the bag once they see Pyra eying them carefully, though.
"Uh, here. Gotta go, late for work, bye!"
The Machop runs off and out of town surprisingly quickly after handing the bag and its contents back to Pyra.
As for the Kecleon brothers, they're more than happy to buy the 2 Gold Ribbons from Pyra for the same price they purchased the one from Kee for: 2500 Poké each.
Not yet since it's still a little early in the day, but she will have to have something to eat eventually. If she's not going anywhere out of town, though, it's not much of a concern because the Guild offers that one free meal a day (which is the bare minimum for getting through the day without feeling any side effects from hunger when not adventuring to a far away Mystery Dungeon).

Quote:Also, is Pyra hungry or have any other needs/feelings in the moment? Because those might have to be taken care of sooner rather than later depending on what she decides to do with her time.
