While Kogeki waited for Daxter to appear, Kogeki decided to train. In the training room he problably meet some other Pokemon to train in that place (up to you about the place @Dragonstrike). Kogeki understand something: In his currently state, he still not nearly strong as Pyra or Kee in certain areas. He cant call flames, use his voice as weapon or even reduce the power of his enemies with his presence. He have his skills of a ninja and a Kunai, but he need to become more strong. Enough strong to help his friends.
The first step of a training is train in what you are strong. And in Kogeki case, his stronger point is his speed. His main moves is not very much strong, but they make up for speed to surprise foes and help reach good distances.
He begin his training in doing some exercises to increase the heat of his body, and then ask someone if there some place in the training room where he could run a bit. Then if that was possible for about 12 minutes he begin to run in circles in that place, trying to acommodate a bit more to his Riolu body. Within 3 minutes of those 12 minutes he increase his speed using either Feint or Quick Attack to see how much long his body could take the increase of speed.
Kogeki find some dummy boll to train and he begin to train using his legs and punchs to hit certain areas of the doll: Abdomen, head, throat and nose. The nose is the weakness of some Pokemon who rely in smell to locate things, like dogs or snakes like Pokemon, so hitting that areas can make those Pokemon confused about where to find they're preys. Throat is also good since in some cases Pokemon can shout to call allies or even use the voice as weapon like Whismur or like Kee and Karen ability to shout Snarl and Disarming Voice.
In some moments he use the Quick Attack to increase the speed of his attacks to hit more than one place. He however make sure to not break the doll or even let his kunai drop from its hidding place.
And he do that kind of training until Daxter appear in the room.
