Dax nods as he listens to Master Poliwrath's rules. They all seem fair and make sense, so he's fine with it. He's intrigued about what the master said about the humans though.

"Wait a second there. What do you mean by everyone ending up on a rocky wasteland?" He asks interestedly.

"Ah, right, you're a bit too young to have been around when that happened, aren't ya?  Well, one moment I was here, the next, I was somewhere else, getting chased by weird shadows!  Woulda fought them, but there were too many for me to hold off.  Don't remember what exactly happened after that, or how I ended up back here, but there's plenty of talk around town about how a human appearing was the reason why that happened."
