Daxter looks around in confusion before he jerks his head towards Karen. "Hey, love. You hear that? Let's check it out."

Daxter then proceeds to walk over there, making sure to be as discrete as possible.

"Yeah, let's go.  I have a...strange feeling about that voice.  I think it's worth checking out."

Karen and Daxter make their way over to Hawlucha's Slam School, where the bird himself is still rummaging around in his things, trying to find something while muttering to himself.

"No, not that...not here either...*sigh*...where is it?  Why can't I find it?  Could it have been...?  No, it probably wasn't that small fire type...he was in front of my stall the entire time...but that's also when it disappeared...hmmmm...it has to be here somewhere..."

Pssst, over here!  Behind the stall!

Daxter and Karen try to sneak their way past without attracting Hawlucha's attention.

Dexterity + Survival + Stealth
Karen: (1)(1) 0 successes
Daxter: (6)(6)(5)(2) 3 successes

Karen trips again, crying out briefly as she hits the ground.  "Wha!  Ouchies..."

And unfortunately for her, that certainly catches Hawlucha's attention.

"Hm?  Who's there?"

"Oh, uh...hi.  Your store isn't open yet, is it?"

"Oh, it's you.  No, it's not.  Still can't find that blasted item I need to run my shop...hey, maybe you can help."

"Um...okay?  What do you need help with?"

"Well..."

While Hawlucha is talking to Karen, Daxter slips behind the stall and out of sight, where he finds something very, very strange.

A bottle of some sort.



Oh man, finally!  I didn't think anyone was going to be able to find me!  Hey, what's your name?  You must be something special if you can hear me!

Wait, a talking bottle?!?!
