[Guide] How to Soft Reset for Shiny Urayne

As a note, this is an old guide. One should do most everything the same, feel free to set up the autosave to trigger with the flashback sequence, but when it does, wait another 5 minutes, or however long you have the autosave set to trigger for, and then watch the bottom-right corner for the autosave to trigger upon returning to the present in the championship site. It should trigger an autosave right before receiving Urayne. After that, you can check to see if it's shiny.

Then, I'd advise going back to the main menu by closing the game or hitting F12 and turning the autosave function off because you can also stat-hunt it this way.

The game automatically makes a save when you return to your home after the credits and will autosave too, but only if the feature is turned on. So if you turn it off, you can just go back to the moment where you get Urayne over and over again. Let the credits roll, and look at it's stats and nature to see if they're up to snuff. (Note, having a lead with the Synchronize ability won't affect Urayne's nature whatsoever) That way, if you happen to get an awesome non-shiny one you can keep it for competitive play. Though it should be noted that resetting for a shiny is much, much faster.
