The pathway continues for some distance.  Pyra and Kogeki can't tell if it dead ends or not unless they were to move to an entirely new tile, but they definitely don't spot anything out of the ordinary at their current position.

"Hmm...this might be dangerous. Whatever attacked the Salandit probably was hiding in that pathway...or it is still hiding. Pyra, I think I should check the pathway to see what I can find, or if our friend is still hiding in the darkness. I have better chances in doing so if I go alone. Stealth is the greatest skill of a ninja."

"*Shakes head* ....We shook stick and stay close to our friends, I believe-think Kogeki. Splitting our group in a Mystery Dungeon is a bad, bad idea unless need be, indeed, caused us no end of trouble when Karen got separated by her Teleporting. ....But if you wish to scout ahead sneakily, to brave the corridor ahead alone-hidden.....then do as you may, and I shall tell everyone else about it to prepare, yes."

Concerning Salandit, right now Pyra and Kogeki are not involved with it at all, so if you could resolve it before they get back so they don't have to.....well, she'd have nothing to complain about.
