[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows

Hoopa gives Daxter a rather annoyed look.  "If it were that simple, I would have definitely done that already.  No, something's substantially restricting my ability to travel across vast distances of space.  That bottle might be a tight fit on the inside, but getting out of it might as well be like crossing the universe if it isn't uncorked.  I've got some minor control over small time based jumps, but little more than that right now.  It's very frustrating."

That annoyed look is very quickly replaced with that more cheerful, mischievous smile soon after.

"Anyways, let's go!  I'm eager to finally start flexing a little and break some of these bonds that have been cast upon me!  The bigger they are, the harder they fall, and an opponent like this Primal Machamp sounds like easy prey for a Psychic/Ghost type like me, even as weakened as I am!  This should be loads of fun!  Heeheehee!"

Everyone packs up the items they've decided to take with them and leave as a group, proceeding past the Kangaskhan Rock and into the opening beyond it.

The darkness once again closes in on the party as they walk away from the torchlight, but it's quickly replaced by more torchlight ahead of them as they suddenly find themselves walking down a slope, deeper into the underground.  Wooden support beams can be seen holding up the ceiling in an oddly symmetrical, square room at the end of the slope, and the torchlight dimly illuminates the immediate surroundings.

The very unnatural looking cave is oddly quiet aside from the crackle of the fire.  Marcus is tense as his eyes scan the surroundings.  Karen's much the same as she closes her eyes and focuses.

By contrast, Hoopa just doesn't seem to care.

"Alright, looks like we're finally here.  Kee, lead the way, but I'd recommend caution.  We don't know what could be hiding in these shadows..."

"Oh, you worry too much!  You have me on your side now!  Heeheehee!  There's nothing to worry about at all, particularly when we're dealing with Fighting types!"

"Hmmmm, I'm not so sure, Hoopa...but I think we are safe for now.  I don't sense anything in our immediate surroundings so far.  Do you see anything, with those X-Ray Specs though, Kee?"
