Rolycoly jumps (an impressive feat considering it has no legs) when the Kunai embeds itself in the ground next to it.  They seem to be paying very close attention to what Kogeki is saying.

The three unconscious rolycoly don't seem to have much of particular note on them.  The timid one, however, watches in wide eyed terror as their 'comrades' twitch uncomfortably when Kogeki starts siphoning their auras.

Daxter sighs again and focuses his attention on the only conscious rolycoly.  "They're not gonna hurt ya.  I think.  So, can you tell us what's been going on in these mines now?"

Rolycoly stares at Daxter, still wide eyed and terrified, and stammers a response.

"C-carkol...m-made a deal w-with...someone.  I think.  D-don't know w-who.  But n-now there's...st-strange pokemon in the tunnels...p-particularly the ones up a-ahead...C-carkol insisted o-on m-mining all the c-coal after they arrived f-for s-some reason..."

"What kind of strange pokemon?"

"I d-don't know.  They l-looked d-different every time I've s-seen them.  I have a b-bad feeling they're up to n-no good..."

Daxter thinks it over for a moment before he responds.

"You didn't want to work for that...Carkol, was it?  So how 'bout you work with us instead?  It'd be better than trying to survive on your own, right?"

Rolycoly glances at Daxter, then at Pyra, then at Kogeki, before turning back to Daxter, still looking terrified.

"Pyra, Kogeki?  I think it'd be a good idea to have some more recruits, don't you?  It'd probably do the little guy some good to have some time away from here too, I think.  I have a feeling they've been through a lot recently.  I doubt they'd turn on us if we don't give them any reason to mistrust us."

Kogeki look at Daxter with colds eyes for a few seconds, and then he redirect his gaze towards Rolycoly. He see him for a few seconds, and then tell with a exasperated sight. "My opinion is like Pyra: Its bad and terrible have a old enemy to our side. Wild Pokemon is one thing. But a Pokemon with conscious who choose to attack us, despite be forced to do it, its like summon a bad storm towards us."

"...But I know there no use in make you change of a idea, so I will be forced to accept. However you keep a watch on him Daxter, since it was your idea to keep as a member of our team. As for you Rolycoly..."

Kogeki walk towards Rolycoly and said some words (before Kee came to scene). "Dont think I will take my eyes on you. If I ever see the most slight clue of betrayal coming from you. If you do anything who could put in danger the lives of my friends, the last thing you will feel its a sharp blade in your single eye. Did I make myself clear?"
