"If everyone's ready, let's go! Oh yeah, Keldeo, Emolga, Madame Twintales. I recommend you all tag along too. I imagine you don't want to be stuck in the Mirror World any more than the rest of us! Hehehe!~"
Hoopa plucks a ring off of one of their wrists and prepares to throw it. Tornadus stands tall and spreads his wings wide and answers Kee's last question.
"You will find a Kangaskhan Rock on the approach to the Seasonal Shrine, at the end of the island's maze. Be sure to take advantage of its safety before engaging with Landorus. May my western winds guide you swiftly to your destination far in the east!"
KAAAAAAAAWWWWWW!!
Hoopa throws the ring forwards, and it grows in size until it's large enough for a pokemon to step through it! Tornadus begins flapping his wings, creating a powerful gust of wind that blows straight into the ring! Swirling purple energy begins to form in the ring, gathering until it's a glowing portal to...somewhere. Presumably the Island of Storms.
"All right everyone, here we gooooooo!!"
Everyone subsequently finds themselves shoved into the portal via a combination of Tornadus's wind blowing them off their feet and Hoopa actively teleporting behind individuals and shoving them forwards.

Thundurus rises into the air once more, tail rattling with the sound of sparking electricity. Zeraora tenses up, preparing for battle again.
Thundurus holds a claw out to indicate Zeraora should stop. "I have no quarrel with you, retainer. You should focus on returning to your world. Go with the humans."
Zeraora clenches a fist briefly before relaxing. "Fine. But if I fail to find Lord Raikou in a timely manner, I will find you and interrogate you."
"I know as much as you do, retainer. Now, you all must fly to the Island of Storms as fast as possible!"
Hiiiiiizzzzzzzz!!
The sound of hissing electricity fills the air as Thundurus creates a stormcloud that fills the arena! The cloud then floats down to the ground, and Thundurus motions for everyone to get on it.
"You can use this cloud to travel to the Island of Storms. Deep in the island's maze, you will find a shrine with four stone altars. That is the Seasonal Shrine, and likely where Landorus is located. Now go!"
Daxter, being a Water type, is naturally hesitant to get on a stormcloud of all things, but is eventually coaxed onto it by Thundurus and his party. Zeraora and Dedenne do not seem to mind standing atop a source of electricity for obvious reasons.
Once everyone is on the cloud, it zips off to the south, leaving behind the sound of thunder in its wake!

The Eyes in the Sky: Things That Live on This Planet - Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon
Our camera now looks down on the world from high above. A peaceful place normally, the world of pokemon is content to rotate like any other planet.
Circling the planet's ozone layer is none other than the Legendary Rayquaza, ever vigilant in their patrol of the atmosphere ever since the world was almost destroyed by a massive meteor. Their long, serpentine form spirals through the air as their gaze flicks between the airless space above and the green and blue planet below.
It's a patrol like any other, boring and routine...until they notice something odd.
A dark, shadowy storm. At first, they thought it was simply regular atmospheric interference from the typical winds, but no, this is something different...a black shadow, swirling in a circle over a single location.
Their eyes narrow. That hardly looks like a natural occurrence...they'll need to get a closer look.
And so, as Rayquaza alters their flight path to take them closer to the surface, our camera zooms into the shadowy storm. The storm fills the space, and we travel through it. Black lightning sparks between dark clouds, and we follow one of those bolts to the Island of Storms below...
...where the sounds of battle can already be heard.
Monster House!!: It's a Monster House! Remix by F.L. Remix
A Roserade and a Rhyperior find themselves back to back surrounded by all manner of pokemon. Gigalith, Crustle, Victreebel, Plusle and Minun, Probopass, Sudowoodo...
There just seems to be no end to them.
Roserade briefly glances behind her. "Desperate times call for desperate measures. Ready Rhyperior?"
"I didn't want to have to do this, but it looks like we have no choice. We're gonna have to cut into our supply of Reviver Seeds."
"Agreed. On three. One, two.."
"Three!"
Roserade leads, scattering a storm of petals to hit every pokemon around her! Most of the Rock types take heavy damage if they aren't outright KOed! Rhyperior takes part of the blow as well, and is promptly knocked unconscious by the attack, only for a burst of light to engulf him! When it fades, Rhyperior is standing again, ready for battle!
"And now it's my turn! Take this!!!"
Rhyperior punches the ground, causing a massive tremor that shakes the island! Every pokemon that hadn't been KOed by Roserade's Petal Blizzard is subsequently knocked unconscious by Rhyperior's Earthquake! Roserade herself does not go unaffected however, and is also revived by a Reviver Seed.
Both pokemon are short on breath after that.
"Was that the last of them..?"
"I think so...I hope...I don't think we can take much more of this...and Gallade still hasn't returned from his scouting mission..."
Their conversation is interrupted as another wave of wild pokemon appears from the treeline.
"There really doesn't seem to be an end to them! Where are they all coming from?!"
"We'll just have to KO these ones too! We still have some Reviver Seeds left, right?"
"Just two. I'm not sure if we can afford to use them though. Maybe we should..."
They're interrupted again as two sounds suddenly fill the air: The hum of a purple portal accompanied by western winds, and the boom of thunder!
Spilling onto the ground in front of Roserade and Rhyperior are a surprisingly large variety of pokemon. Even the wild pokemon pause their attack briefly as everyone simply stares in surprise at the new arrivals.
Team Omega Seekers, Team Night Wardens, and all of the pokemon that were accompanying them have arrived on the Island of Storms.
Rhyperior is still on edge. "Who are you?! What the heck are you doing here?! This place is dangerous!!"
Roserade's the one who spots the glint of Adventure Badges on some of the pokemon present. "Rhyperior, they're with the guild! I think we can turn the tide of this battle now!"
"Hmph. As long as they don't go get themselves killed."
Roserade immediately takes charge, used to being in a commanding role. "All of you listen up. I may not recognize all of you as members of the guild, but you find us in a tricky spot right now, and we desperately need your assistance. We're in the middle of a Monster House right now, and we need to thin the numbers of these wild pokemon enough to keep moving. If we split up, I think we can defeat enough of them to clear a path to the center of this island. Rhyperior and I can handle one group of pokemon. We are incredibly experienced fighters, and a small group won't be much trouble for us as long as you can handle the rest. I'll leave the assignment of your groups up to you, but you should decide quickly who's going where! Those wild pokemon aren't going to be distracted for very long!"
This Monster House will have some special mechanics attached to it due to the large number of pokemon involved in the battle.
Surrounding everyone are five groups of wild pokemon, and I'm going to divide everyone up into five groups to deal with them. Each group will battle one set of wild pokemon, and only the battles involving player characters will be rolled (I'd rather roll dice for two battles than five for the time being).
The five groups of allies are as follows:
- Platina, Kogeki, Kee, and Hoopa
- Daxter, Karen, Braixen/Sheena, Rolycoly, Snom, and Rowlet
- Roserade and Rhyperior
- Madame Twintales, Keldeo, and Emolga
- Zeraora, Dedenne, and Bunnelby
You may also swap the placements of players and NPCs other than Braixen/Sheena, Roserade, and Rhyperior if desired. Simply let me know who you would like to be in which group in the meta thread. These are simply the default group placements.
- Roserade and Rhyperior will always be paired together and will wipe out the group they're assigned without any further assistance.
- Braixen/Sheena will always be paired with Daxter since he's about the only pokemon she trusts here at the moment.
- Hoopa must also accompany the group that currently has the Djinn's Bottle. Kee is currently holding it, but the bottle may be given to another individual who can carry it if Hoopa is needed elsewhere.
- Every group should have at least 3 pokemon in it. The exception is Roserade and Rhyperiors' group as they're strong enough on their own to not need a third pokemon in their group.
The five groups of wild pokemon are as follows:
- A Gigalith, a Swadloon, and a Lillipup
- An Archeops, a Plusle, and a Minun
- A Butterfree, a Petilil, and a Carbink
- A Victreebel, a Ledyba, and a Sudowoodo
- A Probopass, a Mime Jr., and a Crustle
The Probopass, Gigalith, Archeops, Butterfree, and Victreebel also radiate a menacing, shadowy aura that flares whenever the black lightning from the dark storm above strikes.
Determine who's battling what in the Meta Thread, and then I'll roll initiatives for the groups involving player characters! You may also react in character to the events in this post.
Which NPCs you send where matters as well! I may not be rolling their battles out entirely, but how they matchup with the opposing pokemon will affect their odds of success. If they do particularly well, you may receive some bonuses!
