If Daxter's attempt to recruit Crustle should fail, Karen will attempt using a friendly approach to recruiting Crustle
"I wish we had more time now for reunions... but I'm not really feeling taking on another group of hostile Pokemon." Karen says to the Omega Seekers.
"Duly noted" she says to Roserade, before carefully making her way toward the stairs
With that, she's ready for whatever is on floor 2 (hopefully)
