I like the parallel to captain Cook, however accidental,  considering Creshire was originally inspired by my trip to New Zealand

Indeed! Heart is a fairly pivitol character in the World Building, as he's going to be responsib1e for the version of Events and History that the Common Man knows ! And boy is it not a f1attering one to a1most every hero in it....
