"You don't know the half of it, Dodger.  Let's just say there's several reasons why my superiors sent me clear out here over anyone else."

Seddi will salute the surprisingly docile Paradox Gligar.  "Pleasure to meet ya.  Looks to me like we'll make a decent pairing, and that I'll need to keep my food stores well stocked.  Let's get out of here before something bigger and even meaner shows up.  Don't think either of us would enjoy scrappin' with a bigger predator."

One lean, mean, status spreading scorpion acquired and recalled to their ball!  Seddi will give Goodra a thumbs up as well before recalling them to their ball.

"Right then.  Let's hightail it to your vehicle and start makin' our way over to that embassy building, Dodger.  Don't fancy running into a Wandering Hurricane or the like.  I'm here to study the critters that call this place home, but I don't have a death wish."

Hopefully Dodger slows down when they actually get to the city.  For traffic safety, of course.  But Seddi hasn't forgotten about the other six individuals nor that gemstone either...

On the way back, Seddi will shoot the Professor a text message to keep her updated.

Headed to the city now.  Captured a young Sutalöran Paradox you'll likely be interested in taking a look at later.

"Heh, guess I really don't, eh rustler? *Smirks* That just means I'll have plenty of fun trying to figure ya out, lucky me!"

Surprisingly enough the Sand Crawler returns your salute with an affirmative *ZZzsSS!* and some *CLACKING!* and went back into his Ball smooth and easily. Exceptionally tolerant Paradox they are indeed...

Oh, and Goodra returns your gesture with a friendly head pat! No goo on your hat too - they know how to control their Abilities VERY well!

Dodger returns your request with a "Righty-o! Let's Extreme Speed on outa here!" and a two finger salute, and the both of you make your way to his ride a bit ahead: a Hovercraft Dragster that's Bigger on the Inside! I won't go into huge detail about it, but suffice to say several people could comfortably live and travel in this vehicle, the front two door were in those fancy 'Open Up' style that lead into the cockpit, while the backdoors lead to the living area. 

You get yourself comfortable in the plush memory foam chairs and strap yourself in as the Dandy Man begins all pre-Drive checks and begins priming the engines, and shoot that text of yours to the Professor. Almost immediately you get a reply back:

Already? Great work. Eagerly awaiting to see the Native Paradox. Will works towards Project in the mean time. Poppy also called; I said you were okay but too busy to speak. Recommend putting phone on 'Not Receiving' to keep her from discovering what happened.

On a whim you did as she asked, and just as you put away the phone Rodger gives the car a B I G  *R E E V*, and you could feel the bone deep vibrations that went through the cockpit. He turns towards you, sporting a grin that spoke of both sauve comfort and eager anticipation of what was to come.

"All ready to rumble and tumble to Bayhama! I see you're strap in put away all the gizmos, so without further ado..."

Dodger shifts the car into 'Maximum' Gear, from what you can see of the holographic display, flicks a bunch of switches on, and flips open a hatch, revealing a Big Red Button.

"LIGHTSPEED TIME, BABY!!!"

He slams the button -

And you knew nothing but pure SPEED....

....Swiftly, the two of you arrived in Bayhama proper at such Speed that even a Inflagetah on Agility and EXS would blush enviously, passing by all checkpoints and gates with ease (Something about Dodger 'being a familiar face' letting him bypass such things) and getting you deep within city limits. Eventually you had enough, and request to be let off early, which he obliges with a cheeky grin, letting you step off (and regain your equilibrium) right near the entrance of what looks to be a quiet lil' park.

"Guess that's it for us grooving together, 'least for now! *Points!* Just head that way for a few blocks, and you'll eventually get on a subway that'll lead ya directly to the embassy! Call me if you got any juicy stories to share or something interesting ya want to pawn off (He gave you his number at some point during the ride...), k' mate? *Grins* Well, it's been nice hanging with ya, Seddi. Be well in these Wild Lands, and do as I always say: Stay Dandy !! "

With that he rolls up his window, and with a *ZOOM!* the Dandy Man is rocketing off deeper into the city, gone in a blink of an eye.

Just as you recovered your bearings and was about to meet up with the Professor, your Gemstone suddenly *Pulses*, and you can feel it tug you towards a direction. A direction that so happens to be the lil' park, further and deeper within.

Looks like this is were you can meet up with at least one other SOUL - how Fortunate.

Tilting your hat down and mustering all your poise and style, you let the Gemstone guide you, leading you into the Park...

First, exp spending:
Darren uses all but 4 to increase knowledge to 2!
Galvantula uses all 9 to learn Thunder Wave, and levels up!

Darren rubs his head where he got beaned
"Sorry, I know this might be hard to believe, but, I have to meet some people." Darren shows Aaron the strange gemstone, "This is pulling me that way," Darren points the direction of the tugging force. Darren'll take the oportunity with or without Aaron to find a Pokemon Center to heal up. Then he follows the pull.

Aaron gives you a skeptical look at first and calls you a 'Fool boy with cobwebs for brains' but one look at the Gemstone changes his tune. As a Elite 4 Member, he knew what mystical bull looked and felt like, and that right there was Grade EX Tauros dung.

"Well Strong Shoot. *Sighs* What have you gotten yourself into THIS time. *Shrugs* Guess this adventure of ours is going to be more exciting than we though, eh? Lead on, boy."

The two of you leave the terminal, winding your way out and into the grand city proper - soon enough, and far sooner than you think was possible, both of you were already heading deep with a lil ol' Park...

"...You are very welcome. Very so." A mild and fleeting smile does grace Bernhard's face as they...as much as they'd dislike to admit, actually enjoy(!!) and appreciate(!!!) the display of affection of the newly-evolved ninetailed fox. They'd even allow 'emselves a careful display of affection in return, not by 'craddling her head gently' as Zephy requested, but by softly stroking through Myra's shining and warm golden neck fur. In a hesitant and shy manner, but genuinely regardless. Would the Traditionalists among the Scims highly disapprove of such behaviour? Definitely, but they're not here at the moment.

But whow, Bernhard could vividl FEEL how the golden fur is brimming with mystical and arcane power - Yes, all the years holding off for her to evolve, working with Myra during training ever since he got her from a Medium as a small Vulpix with only a single tail, were all the more worth it indeed, and more so. Just got to make sure to collect and keep stray shed fur for Alchemy recipes in the future. And to not overly strain himself and the Gauntlet by channeling all of Myra's new potential at once.

The dear moment soon had to find an ending though, because let's not forget where they were and who they are. Therefor, Myra is recalled into her Dusk Ball again - "There'll be plenty opportunities later on to practice working with your newly-awaked powers; for now, rest up", Zephy is asked to return the Astral Stone at last (which becomes Bern's new Held Item, and is placed into the exact same inner chest pocket of their robe that previously held the Fire Stone) as well as requested to slip into the robe's sleeve again to hide her away from prying eyes (because you don't run around with a vivid Mythic just like that!), and finally - taking a literal and figurative leap of faith, off the edge of the skyscraper's roof they go. Perhaps an act of insanity for the average man to do so without much secound thought, but Bernhard was everything but the average. By far not. Actually, they could not resist to pull of some show/display of power by going down in grace and style, being a Scim of high ranks and all. How used Bayhama's townsfolk is to Scimitars literalls falling from the sky he does not know, but he'll soon find out.

Action: Perform Check for a fall with grace and style please, and I'll sink the remaining 6XP I had from initial XP-distribution into Bern's first point of Perform. Once we're actually down to earth again, see where the Astral Stone 'pulls' them, and decide from there whether to follow it or whether to make haste to the docks in direction Mageocracy to see their former Mentor as well as the other important figure.

Zephy was drooling as she hastily (but MAGNIFICENTLY) captured that Smile and the sweet, tender moment between you two, mumbling 'YES YES YES!' and giggling like a (art) junkie just got her fix. Zephy has made PLENTY of Pictures and copies of this Event; if you are so inclined you could easily sell the copies for around $1500 Poke, or perhaps even more if you were willing to deal with you far club...

Myra looks sad at being Recalled so soon, but obey with a dutiful nod - and a good lick to the face and one last snuggle for good measure! Zephy was trying (and failing) to contain her 'Daws' to herself, but she sobered up and went up your sleeves once more as requested.

" 'Right, let's see where this Astral Stone and Fate takes us both, Partner! Now spread those wings of those and FLY!"

Spirits and mood now thoroughly lifted and buoyed, you decide to indulge in your artist buddy's request for theatrics, preparing yourself....!

You jump back onto the very edge of the skyscraper....before tipping over the side, head first. Then, just as your feet were about to leave the edge, you *P u s h * onto it, sticking there and defying gravity for one moment...

*BOOM!*

And you were off, cracking the edge as you spiraled your way through the air with an audible Zoo-Boom!, Zephy laughing with excitement as you both barreled through the sky and startling several Flying Type. A few people from below notices and pointed up, some in excitement, so with familiarity - Scimitars flying around Bayhama was not an uncommon sight, but it was always something interesting to look at, especially those with a sense of flair to their flight. Something you had in spades as you made an abrupt stop mid arm, yet again defying the forces of gravity, pressing your feet against seeming thin air...!

*BOOM!*

...And off you went again - this time heading off in the direction where the Astral Stone was tugging you. Speedily, you made your way there, arriving over of a lil' patch of park. Looking down it, you adopted you tried and true aloofness and nodded to yourself, you descended, going past the trees and to directly to were the others were at...

In the middle of the park, there was a clearing. Wide, open, plain as it can be. The only thing of note was the long, flat stone that was planted right in the middle, smooth as it can be. Perfect to have a picnic on!

And a perfect place for a meeting too.

One by one, each of the Souls came.

The Warding Soul from the North, stalking out from the trees as they pleased.
The Wreathed Soul from the East with Mentor in toe, both wary but curious as to what this was all about.
The Wanderlust Soul, already present, sitting down and having a small snack with his Pokemon.
The Wistful Soul descending down on high, lording over all with a domineering air.
The Wake'd Soul,appearing from the West from seeming nothing as they tiredly walked onto the grass.
The Weary Soul appearing from the South, hunched over on themselves but still going ever forward.
The Wised Soul coming forth from the shadows, silent as they were bold.

All the Souls together, so shortly yet at long last.
Together as one, their Gemstones/Astral Stone *pulsed* as one, before the feeling fadded away.

Leaving only with themselves to guide thy Fates.

So began The Meeting of the Brave, an event that, one day, perhaps, would go down as one of the biggest moments in History....
