Anyway, Vernon does concede and hands over the 500$. "Good battle, friend. It's clear your Staryu understands the true meaning of toughness after tanking those Chip Aways. Not to mention, sometimes the best defense is a good offense. And that speed! Well-deserved win. Bye now!"
Considering the sheer POWER that the other PCs have and the fact that Moves can't normally be Spammed, Re-equipping your Boots for Free at the end of every Round is pretty tame really!
You and Munchlax gain 5 XP - 3 XP for the Battle, and 2 XP for having the wisdom to Withdraw from a Fight without unnecessarily wasting any resources on what amounts to practice.
The Fisherman accept the Poke with a handshake and a clap on the back, a slight grin at his victory and your cool as can be attitude.
"Nicely done yourself, mate. If I didn't get Lucky your Munchy would've flattened my Staryu. Sometimes battles here in Sutalor just come down to Fate - it's how you handle it that determines the real winners, time and time again. Call me James - I'll let you know if I get anything about a Wailmor. May the tides be with you!"
Before we go anywhere, though -
End of Encounter Pickup Loot Roll X2 - One for this one, and the other from The Meeting of the Brave!
1. Kind (3) ; Rarity: (9)
You manage to find Two Oran Berries Fisherman James dropped - or perhaps he might have left them behind, judging from how they were wrapped in some cloth and were in a spot easily found by Munchlax.
2. Kind (4) ; Rarity: (7)
Speaking of Healing Items, Munchlax pulls a Antidote out from....somewhere, and hands it to you, along with another Unit of Spider Silk. Guess the lil' bear managed to snag one from the Big Spider somehow
??? - They also happen to find what appears to be a small, pink gemstone upon doing a once over on you (looking for some extra snacks), which faintly smells of flowers and mist.
With that done you'll head over to the Survival Center, a large pyramid shaped structure with the logo of the Sutalorian Wildlife Agency proudly on the front of it: Three Stars, interconnecting and crossing over slightly to form a pentagon in the center, all of them linked with vines, and different symbols within each Star - one for Mountains, One for Seas, and one for Forests, and in the Center pentagon as a spikey orb, symbolizing the rest of the Lands. Gaining access to the place was easy - all you had to do was walk through the front doors, no fuss or muss - and inside...

....It was like every wilderness survival store in existence had come together to form a super coglomerate of everything a prospecting Explorer, Hiker, Wildsman, or Trainer could ever need to rough and tough it out in the savage lands on and off the Routes. Apparel of all kinds for any condition or element imaginable, guns and weapons of every make to help Trainer and Mon alike in beating back the menaces that would prey on them, Stock Ponds filled to the brim with all sorts of Fish Pokemon for use in the Wilds or as emergency rations, Food Stuffs of all kinds to last you through the harsh environment, every kind of Trainer Item to make camping out a less harrowing experience, Tents, Bags, cookware, and much, much more. With your Insightful gaze you could even spot what looked to be something akin to Hunting Lounges further back, as well as stairs and elevators leading upwards to who knows what. Front and center to the entrance was what looked to be a circular desk/counter/register of sorts, primed and situated to help customers and the curious alike in all their needs. All in all, this place was prepared to prepare you for the Wilds of Sutalor and THEN some!
....It was also, rather Strangely, eerily empty and quiet. The front desk was unmanned too, though their was a plate of cookies, some sort of drink that, upon further inspection, strongly looked and smelled like some sort of citrusy, smoky tea, and a what appeared to be a Note. Read, it simply said:
'Sorry - At Linner, and Low Staffing For Today! Please Wait Warmly, and Enjoy these Snacks!'
Huh - well, it was beginning to get late, with it not being too long until sundown. You could wait for the receptionist to finish their meal, or you could try and come back tomorrow, when the center is hopefully more man and busy.

Vacuum Wave
Accuracy: Dex (3)+ Fight (3)+ Channel (0)+ Single Action (1)= 7D6
Damage: Special(2)+SE(1)+Technician(1)+2=6D6
Notes: Priority
In the interests of saving a bit of time, I'll auto resolve the rest of the Encounter - Scizor handily cleans the Barbaracle's clock with its lighting fast blows before it could even react, acting with particular vengefulness for it Lethaly wounding their fellow comrade. That'll show you, scoundrel!
As a Future Note: Generally, it's better to do Multiple Actions if the Opponent is over 1/2 Max HP in my campaign, even if it makes the Dice Pool of stuff like Vacuum Wave (Which Uses Special, btw) a bit wiffy, since more Actions = More Damage and not letting your Opponent wail on you without recompense. Single Actions should be save when either your Mon or the opponent is on the ropes, or you're using some crazy Inaccurate Move like Zap Cannon or something.
Anywho - the belly bruiser was now Fainted and left completely to your mercies. Do you want to Catch it, Kill it (if you're feeling vindictive and harvest its parts for stuff), or just leave it and Move onwards to new stuff?
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
