She chuckles a bit, still take off-guard by the man, but she accept the act of him, since he means no evil and it seems to have a good heart.

She get a bit back when he said the partners, still remembering her last interaction with Seddi and...well, other reasons. "Partners...yeah, that...very great. Having partners is...kinda magical." She looks at the horizon a bit in though.

She is thankful for the man giving her privacy to her thoghts, just looking at the horizon, in deep thought. Remembering all her life until this moment. And thinking about all the possible she could have taken to change fates, maybe...change the fate of many lives.

Then he nod and finally several minutes decided to speak of. 

"Don't take this in a wrong way good sir but...Don't you have other people to save? Maybe...people who get caugh by trapinch or something like that?"

"I truly appreciate you making me company, but...*sigh* I think there is people more deserving in save than me. Like...you looks like a lifeguard, so I pretty sure there lots of people to be saved."

"Again, its not my intention to sound rude or anything."

The dandy man frowns a bit, your remark earning you a thoughtful glance as they tried to gage the full meaning behind it, before they eventually gave an easygoing smile and nods. Looks like they're not going to pry, thank the Gods.

Your somewhat curt remark gets a bark of laughter from the smooth cruiser, with him smoothing back his pompadour and giving you a mock-wounded expression.

"Damn, usually I got ta work a bit harder to get 'jected by the ladies, but you come out swinging with a Sucker Punch and no remorse for a fellow's feelings, huh? Oh the shame, oh the disgrace!"

He punctuates that with another round of chuckles that peter out as her looks towards the horizon and the setting sun.

"....To answer ya question, though, let me raise one for yourself - what makes ya less deserving, less worthy of help? 'Cause on my end? Just happened to find you while I was strolling about the sand, took one look at ya, and decided - "

He *Snaps!* his fingers loudly, and looks to give you a grin and a pair of finger guns.

" 'This sheela right here looks like they could use some friendly company!' So, I made my offer, *Claps hands* and here we are! Situation all seems pretty clear to me, you Dig?"

A moment of silence lapses, filled by the crashing waves, before the dandy man looks back to the sea again.

"...Ain't wrong to help anyone out, s'long as it's wanted. Sometimes ya got to prioritize who needs a'helping too. Could I be helping some other blokes out, 'stead of ya? *Shrugs* Sure. Spend plenty of days doing just that sort of thing, that sort of decision making."

The dandy man looks back to you, and this time he's sporting a rather gentle, accepting smile.

"But today? Today I was just enjoying myself. Just happened to stubble across a few people that looked like they could use a Helping Hand. One of them was ya, and we decided to spend some time together. Doesn't have to be more complicated than that, me thinks. What 'bout you?"
