Day 2 - The Fun Begins!

Everyone wakes up, feeling completely refreshed and ready to properly Tackle Bayhama and all it has to offer. Nothing goes awry for anyone during the Night - this is only particularly relevant for Vernon, but it's good to point this out still! Every PC gains + 1 Will and + 2 XP Now decide - Will you spend 1 Willpoint to Reveal All Fortune Rolls, opening them up to Further Modification by Will for Today?

Dragonstrike - You wake up and find a note on your dresser near your bed in Sada's handwriting. It simply reads :

'Talked with the City Council reps about our general decision. Managed to get them to hold off getting you to sign the Contract for today and Tomorrow, but they want answers by start of Wednesday (Day 4). Until then, do at least one Odd Job for the City per day to appease them. I also told them about the possible assistance we can bring to the Hunt - they seemed shocked by us potentially getting Bernhard onboard, but became rather excitable and overjoyed afterwards. The reps have offered to give them a Philosopher's Stone , up front, provided they sign the Contract too. From what I have researched on it...it would be a powerful tool for them indeed.

Philosopher's Stone - Has 3 'Wish' Charges and 1 'Special Wish' Charge that can be used to do the following (One Effect at a time):
- Act as a Universal Evo Item for any Pokemon, giving them a Attribute Surprise! and/or Move Surprise! in the process
- Generate between $20K-$45K worth's of Gold or other valuable material
- Perfectly create any Alchemic Item/Recipe with Maximum Quality and Quantity that may or may not have Extra Effects; can also be used to complete or greatly accelerate mundane construction and Crafting projects, small and large scale
- Create any Non-Legendary or PD Material or Non-Man Made Item you want (1-3 Units)
- Revive Fossils/Destroyed Artificial Pokemon and/or Fully Heal Target to 2X of there Max HP (Overheal added as Temp HP)
- Empower one Attack to deal their Maximum Hyper Crit Damage X 2 and ignore almost any defense
- Can be used to actually Cast Wish 

Special Effects:
- Alteration of Humans and Pokemon: Fundamentally changes them , giving them unique Forms, Moves, Traits, Abilities, Surprises!, etc , like a more extreme version of Miracle Berry, for better and worse, and strange through and through... Stuff like this can include Permenant New Forms, New Mega, New Typing and Traits, Changing Attribute Caps, Granting a TON of XP, Chaning Pokemon Species or COMBINING them, or even restoring a fraction of the true power to Zephy and depowered Legends/Mythics like Iron Leaves
- Effectively Revive anything as Homunculus Clone of the Target, which will retain most if not all the memories of their 'original' selves while having drastic changes done to them, good, bad, and all VERY Strange...
- Learn the Truth and Belief of ANYTHING, excluding Knowledge of The Future : the Knowledge may or may not have Mechanical Effects on the PC, so be careful what you ask for...
-- If one of the Special Effects is Used : The User Pays a Severe and Extreme Price, as all of these fall under Human/Pokemon Transmutation or Reaching for Knowledge/INS Beyond The Keen , and they take at minimum 1 Extremely Negative Trait and/or Surprise! in addition to raising their Fortune Score by at least + 1. This may also attract the attention of Powerful Entities, and will leave a Mark upon your PC that may affect interactions with those that can sense or perceive it. 


"...Arguably better than what you could get - it seems they hold Bernhard in extremely high regard and are willing to do almost anything to get him on the Hunt. They must be high up on the Totem pole in Scimitar Society to warrant that reaction, or is particularly famous here in Bayhama. Please let him know about this and get his answer back ASAP. I will be working throughout the day making progress on our other tasks - I won't be free until Tonight (Encounter 4). Plan to let La Primera know about what happened by Wednesday - please get more information about Morgana if possible.

Iron Leaves is also sleeping right beside your bed - apparently She let Herself out at night to guard over you more directly!

Once Seddi's shaken off the Zs, he gives the note a thoughtful read, then sends Bernhard (@PhantomUnderYourDesk) a message the mage will probably be very interested in.

Quick update on those rewards I mentioned.  Government is willing to give you specifically a Philosopher's Stone up front if you commit to helpin' out with this Wandering Hurricane hunt I hear.  Guess they have a clear idea of how impressive you are if they're offering an incentive like that.

You've got a day or two to think on it if you need to.  Need to decide if I'm actually signin' anything within that timeframe.

Will send you details about where everyone is meeting tonight to discuss our plans later.  If you decide to join the hunt, make sure you've got a good stock of healing items.  Ianai has an optional test of some kind for us to ensure we're ready for what's to come.  Can be done tonight or tomorrow night.

He'll then look over to the still dozing Leaves.  How sweet of her to keep watch.  Maybe a little risky since he would prefer to keep knowledge of her existence on a 'need-to-know' basis for the foreseeable future, but sweet nonetheless.

[Time to wake up, Leaves.  Got a busy day ahead of us.]

And while Leaves is rebooting out of sleep mode, Seddi checks his other messages to send replies.

Seddi still needs to update everyone besides Bernhard (who Seddi does not want to spam with repetitive messages) and Ianai (who already met the Prof and specifically requested to not be bothered), so he sends another message to Akamu (@Redstone), Oz, Darren (@Mikaruge108), and Vernon (@Iron):

Tonight work for meeting up with me and the Professor?  Bernhard said he's going to be busy all day, and the Professor would prefer to explain things only once.

And then there's only one more message Seddi needs to respond to specifically.

Seddi/Dragonstrike message:

Oz after the party she head, was the last one to send a message to him. When he about "Lethal mission", she was at first wanting to say no...however with people get in danger of life, she cannot let herself not to act. And liking or not, she is a medic, and everyone probably will need her help, specially against such powerful for.

Wasting no more time, she type a message to him:

I gonna be perfect honest with you Seddi...When you mentioned about we would need to face challenges I never expected you would require my skills to such perilous enemy! *Sigh* I very...scared to help and get my sisters...killed. 

...However, I can't refuse the call for help. I a medic, and the oath of save lives is important. Just...let me talk with my Pokemon tomorrow, and get preparations for tomorrow. I also might want your help to find and capture other pokemon to help us against that enemy. Like I mentioned, I only have 3 Pokemon in my team, so getting 2 or 3 more to have a six pokemon lineup would come in hand against that enemy. Your help would be important.

And in response to the above message from Oz:

I'm in a pretty similar boat myself, tbh.  Tacklin' a Malefic Monstrum as soon as I arrived in Sutalör wasn't exactly something I'd planned.  Not gonna stand idly by though when we're in a position to do something about this crisis.  Start stocking up on healing items.  We're probably going to need them.

I need to do a little police work for the government at some point today and make some other calls, but I'll be keeping my phone on.  Happy to help ya out if I can find the time.

Glad to hear back from ya, by the way.  Was gettin' a little worried to be honest.

And finally, Seddi has one more number he needs to dial: Dodger's.

Whether gets ahold of the dandy or has to leave a message, Seddi has the following to say (as well as 'call me back when you can' if he has to leave a message):

"Dodger, it's Seddi.  Got somethin' to talk to ya about that should be right up your alley.  Where and when can I meet up with ya?  On a little bit of a time crunch, so it preferably needs to be before tonight."

Then it's time for a good breakfast to get the day started, and it's off to who knows where next! (1st encounter choice is going to depend on Dodger's availability and if Darren still wants to meet up with Seddi)
